This is a box of pedal casings I have sitting around from past projects. The Danelectro Cool Cat vibe doesn't sound right(one of the phase circuits is toast) but the electronics are there and do work. The rest are just casings. They would be great for restoration projects or if you want to paint your own pedal casings. But I have no use for them. The Rat and DOD FX-90 are missing battery doors. The rat enclosure was painted and stripped but you can see a lot of the old paint on it. You'd likely need to strip the casing bare and refinish it if you want it to look nice. What you see is what you get, please ask questions before bidding. Sold as is, for parts only.

My guess is that they are from old optical equipment. If anyone knows I'd sure appreciate the help. The lenses are of various thicknesses and sizes. All are around 2" in diameter to a little bigger. The tallest is 1.75" and the shortest is 3/4" Most have screw threads on outer casing. They were wrapped in newspaper from 1956 and have been in storage since then. There are no swivel nuts. Springs, felts or mounting screws with these lugs. They are pretty clean but do have some mild pitting. There is no chrome peeling. The threads are perfect on all the mounting holes and there is no cracks in the casings. These have not been cleaned(other than a dust off) or polished, they are as removed from the drum. Set of 2 Trench Art Pen Holders Bullet Casings UMarine Corp Brass Sir De France
Up for Auction is a wonderful example of Trench Art. It is a pair of Pen& Pencil holders made from original bullet casings. They each measure approximately 3" high and 1 3/4" in diameter. At the bottom. These came from an Estate sale of a US Marine Corp Chaplain named F. Urbano. He was stationed at Camp LeJeune. NC and they probably sat on his desk. He was in the 2nd Marine Division, that battled in the Pacific Theater in Guadalcanal, sometime during WWII. The base looks like it could be an old drawer pull. But I am not sure. I believe they are both made from soldered Brass and Copper. There is also a medallion on the front of each. Lot of 2 WWI WWII Brass Artillery Shell Casings Inert Spent 75mm De C
I am no expert on these things. They've been in my family for years and I believe I was told they are from WWI but maybe II. I just don't know or have the time or knowledge to pour through the internet resources for the details. I do know they have not been polished. One was maybe a lamp for a while given the hole in the bottom. One was stuffed with eucalyptus as a center piece given that it had the smell and some foam inserted in it. Now they are just 2 brass cylinders for which I hope someone will have the knowledge and appreciation to find purpose. I hope the detail of the bases provides the information you need to bid. Up for sale are 16 Gretsch lug casings that are in good shape. There is some pitting on some of them. But still look clean. Also included are 16 T Rods and 16 claws…all vintage Gretsch. If you have a bass drum shell, this would be a great score. Also included are 30 screws and washers for the Gretsch lug casings. These came off an older Gretsch bass drum shell that was damaged.
