This capper is American made with sophistcated adjustable clutched torque settings and quick change chuck options. The capper has a three position switch: tighten/off/loosen. The capper is actuated by downward pressure on your bottle cap and stops when the appropriate torque has been reached. A tremendious labor saving device. It runs on 110V and has one small chuck included with spare inserts. There is a spare set of factory supplied electic motor brushes included. Original operating instructions are included. I used this capper before I switched to air powered tools. My bottle caps are rather delicate aluminum and they are occasionally over torqued by the electric capper. ... moreThey are occasionally over torqued by hand tightening. I was advised by the Kinex staff to get the air power tool for my delicate aluminum caps. But did not own an air compressor at the time. This capper is quiet and reliable. The air powered capper starts and stops with a gentle motion. The elctric capper is starts like a one speed electric drill and stops with a tightened cap, according to your torque settings. It is very positive. If your caps are plastic. This is the tool for you and you will be pleased at your good fortune. If your caps are delicate aluminum caps. I had about a 5% failure rate because of over torque. I continued to use the capper inspite of the occasional overtorque for about 10K caps and it saved my butt. Questions. This unit is all stainless steel including the motorized stand and cost new over $26.000 when I purchased it. These are the original belts. Wheels and guides. I probably didn't run more than 10-20,000 bottles through this machine and never had enough production to justify setting it up for different runs.The motor that is in the last photo has never been used. I believe it was for spacing the bottles and next to it is an extra chute feed. It has been sitting in the corner of my shop not too long after purchasing it and it is time to let it go. Sold as is.
