This Tool Came Out of a Machine Shop& Is 1 of the Most Industrial Portable Band Saws I have got in yet. Thing is Could use a Bit of going over. It originally was Mounted to a large stand& is a spot in Rear section that has 2 Threaded holes 4 mounting 2 a stand( Could have been custom/ I am not fully sure) Also the Trigger Switch was removed 4 this reason. Has High& Low with the Off in Center of Selector Switch LOCATED near Rear Handle. Works Fine as is/ was told that it had a standard lock trigger that was a burden 4 it's use in the shop. Currently just Turn On& Off with High& Low( Do Not Need the trigger 2 Operate) Now there is Some Cracks in Rubber Wheels underneath tool( Standard Age Showing) but Older Blade Stays Straight on& works with the wear on them. There is 1 Roller Bearing 4 Guide Blade Missing but is ... moreto keep blade( When Getting Sloppy) from going into bottom guard. The Blade Tracking rollers are All there( 2 on each side) 2 of the ones there a little Noisy but just dry& no Slop in them So look o.k. Tool RUNS VERY WELL as it is now but just like with older band saws the couple general things should be serviced soon if putting back into Industrial use again. Tool is Reasonably Clean with No Damage to Body or Guards. This has had Brushes& Cord Change Not Long ago by previous owner& honestly shows cause this tool is a POWER HOUSE. Blade Release& All Works Cleanly& Main Bearings 4 Drive Train Tight& Smooth Running. It has a 2ft. Long Body& Uses the Deep Cut. 36'' Olliver Bandsaw
Olliver bandsaw 36' Great shape. Carter guides. Blades included. One is a 2' carbide tipped blade for resaw. Finished with my boat restoration project and need space in my small garage. The saw is 9' tall.36'square tilting table and 20' cutting thickness capability. 19' blade up to 2' deep. Good tires and bearings. Motor was removed and serviced three years ago, and new taps were soldered to windings and new heaters were installed in the mag. Set up for single phase 230v. Draws a lot of current at start but runs 23amps of 230. Upper wheel has automatic brake in case the blade breaks. The foot brake is wired with motor shutoff. The red box on the side is full of capacitors to smoothe out the third leg and can be removed for three phase 230/480 operation. Can deliver close by.
