Three Ashtech ProMark2 GPS units
Listing is for a set of 3 Ashtech ProMark2. L1 GPS units. They have been very well taken care of. Only issue I know of is one of the units lcd screen has a dead line of pixels(see photo) near the top of the screen. Cables are in good condition with no breaks or cracks. Never had any cable problems. I am the original owner of these units and purchased all three at the same time. These units deliver a combination of post-processed, centimeter level static survey capabilities with stand-alone, real-time, 3–5 meter reconnaissance, navigation and mapping capabilities. Units also come with extra battery holders for additional power when needed. I have always been able to get a good 8 hours from the 2 internal AA batteries so I never used the extra power adapters. Ashtech Z Extreme GPS receivers
Two Ashtech Z-Extereme's that no longer work. Three L1 L2 antennas that all work one of which is in like new condition. The base radio and rover radio do not work as far as I know. I never tried the rover radio because I do not have the charging cable. There are three unit batteries. One was purchased new and has not been used much the other two were at maybe 50% and 25% however all three have been sitting for a couple of years and are now dead but I believe they will be fine when charged. There are many good cables some bad. The battery charges both work. The SD card adapters are included but the SD cards pictured are NOT included. Please ask questions. Ashtech ProMark 2 GPS Receivers with Accessories
This auction is for a pair of Ashtech ProMark 2 receivers with antennas. Antenna cables, rod cradles, antenna rod height extensions(for use on tribrachs) all manuals, software and one download cradle all as shown in the first two pictures. Rods and bipods from second two pictures are not included. I am a professional land surveyor and my company is the original purchaser of this equipment around 2003. They have done a lot of good work. But we have gone to all dual frequency RTK systems and need room in the locker. I tested these Monday 10/28/14 myself. The receiver marked#2 worked perfectly. The receiver marked#1 has a bad external antenna connection. I got it to work by pressing it hard into the receiver as evidenced by the photos and report. But I wouldn't want to take it in the field that way. Therefore one receiver should be considered ... moreparts only. The download cradle worked fine and I was able to download and process the data I collected. Reports are attached showing each of the sessions I recorded. Downloaded and processed yesterday. All manuals. Equipment CD's and assorted data I could find are included as per the first and second pictures. There are also pictures of both receivers in operation and copies of my results from testing them to demonstrate everything including the download cradle work. They hit precisely on our RTK position for the test monument despite the large errors shown due to ppm error from long distances to the CORS stations used. The verticals were off either from me not bothering to setup the antenna height or not bothering to upgrade the software from the included geoid99 to 03 or 09. But I was testing not surveying. You may need to upgrade to GNSS Solutions(free for download and single frequency use) and/or find a 32 bit computer to use the download cradle. I could not get the download cradle to work with my 64 bit Win7 workstation. It worked fine with the 32 bit Win7 computer we use to download our other data collectors. As said.
