This is one cool radio. Equally at home playing the Marvelettes, Houston Colts games, Paul Harvey, or Frank Sinatra. It's in really nice shape, with no cracks or chips. The dial plastic has yellowed only a little, and, since it seems to match the"champagne" color of the dial and knobs, it may have come that way. There are a few scratches of the"light must be just right" variety, but you have to work to see them. All the knobs are present and original. Best of all, it works! There is a slight hum, so, like most electronics its vintage, it could use new caps and a refit, but there are no major issues. As you can see inside, it's pretty clean, with no evidence(or smell! of burning, and it actually has a serious speaker with a decent sized magnet to it. In short, this is an audio time capsule. Up for bid is a vintage GE(General Electric) tube style clock radio in a tan color. Case is solid and undamaged. But needs a bit of detailed cleaning. Radio hums, but clock works okay. Cord is stiff, but original and undamaged. Knobs are all lightly worn but present and working. All we heard when trying the radio was a humming noise. Here is a rare Systron Donner 8150 Time Code Reader fro m the early'70s that uses nixie tubes for its display. The s ticker in pic#3 shows a servicing in 1974 and the da te codes on the chips are mainly 1972. It's a former Navy laboratory surplus piece. Three digit serial number so there weren't ever many of these around. I would guess. I bought it years ago to use as a clock because I like interesting timepieces. Worked fine back then but now it doesn't set right. The far right digit can only be set to 0. 4, or 8. A lso. When you set the knob to GEN, the time advances but the seconds count off fro m the tens of seconds digit. The minutes and hours change but the days do not advance. I am no expert and the only thing I did to try and fix was to re seat all the plugin circuit boards. Didn't work. Almost all the boards have ... moreheavy gold traces. The 5991 nixies are all bright. Antique Bakelite Sentinel Tube Radio Model 332 Serial 35817 TLC Tinker Time
This old radio by Sentinel is model number 332 and serial number 35817. It measures 12 inches long and 6.5 inches deep. In some of my photos I included a gatorade bottle to help with radio size. This is a deep burgundy almost brown color. This radio is not perfect. I don't know if it works. It does include the original cord. The backside is missing. This radio is heavy. And built with such extreme quality. The contents have old tubes and lined with metal. The fabric cover is soiled in a circular pattern matching the speaker size. I tried getting this to show up in picture but it didn't so well. There are scuffs and few spots to cover. This would make a nice restoration project. Thank you for lookiing.

RARE Antique brass patented 1890 time capsule maritime naval? document tube
Here I have a very rare patented brass Time capsule(that is what I beleive it is) It is solid brass with a threaded base. On the base is stamped"PAT'D MAY 15. 88, APRIL 15, 90, OCT 7, 90. These are the only markings. Top appears to be applied with solder. Very thick. Strong brass. Measures 7.25" tall with a diameter on the top of 2 5/8" and a diameter on the bottom of just under 3" Weighs just under 2 pounds. SOLD AS IS no returns. Please ask if you have any questions.

Philco 48 Antique Console Tube Radio Phonograph Time machine
This time machine has a working am radio and can play records as well. One issue I had. I tried putting the dial to the year1400 and it wouldn't take me back into time. No auxiliary input to plug my phone in and no Bluetooth connectivity. Wtf! Its a great looking and working phonograph and radio and that's about it. Its made of wood and some metal parts but I can't find the flux capacitor anywhere. Hence why I'm not going to ever meet Doc Brown or Marty McFly. But this would make a great show piece for one lucky time traveler!

Time Millenium Carbon Fork, 1 1/8" Alloy Steer Tube
You are bidding on a used Time Millenium carbon fork with 1 1/8" aluminum steer tube and aluminum dropouts. Steer tube has been cut to 215mm. Steer tube still has a star-nut installed. But it's the kind that can be easily removed by prying it out sideways if you want to use a different type of headset. This fork has had a bit of a rough life. The photos show many small chips and nicks through the clear-coat. But none of them has touched the carbon. If you are patient and skilled with sandpaper and clear enamel, you could make all the chips disappear except for the few that are chips right through the yellow Time emblem. Other than the chips, the finish on this part is still very nice- shiny and shows off the carbon weave well. This fork was an excellent fork. In its day. Fender Electric instrument co. Champ. Nowhere does this say Fender Musical Instrument and for those wondering where the Fender Tail Logo emblem is. Fender didn't put them on(appeared after CBS takeover) I bought this in 2006 and it has never been used. It was purchased from a guy that bought it and said is sounds great, and looks great. This amp is a clean example of a pre CBS Champ that you will ever find. The tube chart say's AA764, and the date code is O.B. There are not many of these around especially in this operational and cosmetic condition. Even though this amp still has the old 2 prong plug, it was quiet. The speaker# is 465437, indicating the 37 week 1965. Model 8EV-52. The tubes were replaced by the previous owner with N.O.S. Vintage tubes SOL 5Y3, RCA 6V6, and Telefunken 12AX7. Cabinet sanded 600 grit sand paper removing old blistering varnish then hand rubbed finish with Tung oil until a smooth sheen was obtained then covered with three coats of Protective Polyurethane. Grill cloth replaced with vintage cloth. Radio Chassis Restoration included cleaning and replacement of Dry rotted wire and inspection and testing of vacuum tubes resistor within tolerance and replacement of Electrolytic and wax/paper capacitors. Finally radio was tested for over two hour period with the following results. Sound quality good for mono speaker system. Tuning excellent without drift, volume control smooth and even tone with slight to moderate ... moredistortion on upper levels. I thought this was really unbelievable find! It is yellowing some and some of the edges are brittle but as a whole for almost 44 years old it's in great shape. Especially when you consider how delicate newspaper is. This newspaper comes in a great memorabilia cardboard Time Tube. This is a wonderful piece of history. The Time Tube cardboard container was delivered to every subscriber of the San Antonio Light Newspaper that day with their newspaper rolled up inside. I think it shows how excited and positive the entire nation was during that moment in time, even the front page shows tremendous pride and loyalty on that day.
