Perfect conditon! Tektronix 2430A 150 MHz 2-Channel Digital Storage Oscilloscope
Up for bids. An excellent, and 100% functional Tektronix 2430A Digital 150 MHz 2-Channel Storage Oscilloscope, with power cord and CD softcopy of the operator's and service manuals. No probes or other accessories are included, but the Tektronix scope cart in the photos is available for an additional $50 plus additional shipping costs(cart will be dismantled and packaged with the scope for lowest possible shipping cost-please contact me if you are interested in acquiring the cart with the scope) This is a particularly fine oscilloscope, in excellent condition and super clean inside and out. Exterior has normal expected minor scratches and wear, but front panel is pristine. Unit is formerly military equipment and has a clear plastic screen rather than the usual blue Tektronix filter screen-the CRT display is not"naked" and does ... moreindeed have a proper plastic screen in front of it. I have replaced the 2 non-volatile RAM chips(Dallas#DS1235YW) with new chips. With fresh built-in lithium batteries, and installed DIP chip sockets in place of the old, dead-battery, soldered-in NVRAM chips. The unit passes its power on self-check tests perfectly, and also holds its calibration perfectly. An excellent early-90's measurement instrument for a fraction of its original price! Unfortunately. I do not know this unit's last calibration date, but it compares accurately with readings taken with my calibrated scope, and I offer no further guarantee of accuracy. Please contact me for more information, and I shall be happy to provide photos of the interior if desired and of the replaced NVRAMs seated in their new sockets. Tektronix 2430A 150 MHZ 2 CHANNEL Digital Oscilloscope with GPIB Has scuffs. Scrapes, stickers and sticker residue. Use to be mounted in a 19" rack adapter(option 1R) I removed it from the rack adapter right before taking this auctions pictures. It is missing the handle, top pouch and rear rubber feet, as is the case after removal from the rack adapter which does not require these parts to be installed. The calibration seals were intact before removal from the rack adapter. The input test signal was from a uncalibrated signal generator set to 5mV@ 10KHz The duct tape on the sides is intalled as part of the rack adapter assembly. I recommend leaving it in place unless a handle is to be installed. Passes all self tests. With that being said. It still may need some calibration. May ship via Fedex. No power cord. This is a nice scope; I like it a lot. It has several menus. And functions selectable from those menus. I am an electrician and not an electronics guy. I like this scope because the way it is set up makes it easy for a dummy like me to get a usable waveform on a usable display really quickly. As best as I can tell, everything works. There is a self diagnostic the scope goes through upon start up; it passes that. There are three or four additional menu-selectable diagnostics that you can run. The scope passes all those tests. The accessory pouch is attached. There are two manuals(in great shape) included. The display functions properly. The probes you see in the photos are not included. I will pay the shipping to the lower 48 states.
