This is a solid brass Frog on a Lilly Pad PAPER CLIP with a verdigris finish by Virginia Metalcrafters. The paper clip measures 5-1/4" long x 2-1/2" wide and 1-1/2" tall. It weighs 8.5 ounces. It is in good condition- some of the verdigris finish has rubbed off on the front where the brass shines through. You can see the aged patina on the back. I believe this was made between the late 1930s to early 1940s. It is marked as follows on the back- Vir ginia Metalcrafters mark 7-18(this is the design number)

It is fairly solid glass, and it would make a good paperweight as well as being an inkwell. Up for auction is a 4 piece vintage dark green leather wrapped desk set. The desk set includes a solid brass letter opener that measures 9" in length. A notepad holder that measures 6 1/12" x 4 1/2" Which holds a 6X4 notepad. A ink blotter pad with a felt bottom that measures 6" x 3 1/4" The final piece is a solid brass perpetual calendar flip top legal pad holder. All pieces are wrapped with genuine green leather by Elsane, which have a gilded gold border. All pieces are in excellent condition with some minor wear and tare. The brass on the perpetual calendar has a few scratches on it, other than that the pieces are in perfect condition.

This is for a pen and note pad holder. I am told that it is Jasperware. It is marked on the back with 3 letters, a“T” in the center with an“E” and an“A” one on each side of the“t” please see pictures. It measures approximately 4 1/2 inches by 3 3/4 inches.
