It was in with the rest of my motors for shop machinery and I'm busy thinning stuff out. External wiring looked pretty bad. So I plugged it in with the short piece shown in the photo's. Came up& ran, so I gave a little oil and let it warm up a few minutes. No irregular heat, smells or funny noises to be found. It does make a little brush noise as it comes to a stop. But hey, I got some creaky joints too and seeing as this things got decades on me, I really can't hold that against it. It has a 1/2" keyed shaft. My camera is on the fritz. So this is the only picture I could get it to focus with. This motor has exactly 30 minutes of use on it out of the box. We installed this motor long enough to find 2 expensive problems elsewhere and the customer ended up replacing his system. This is basicly a brand new motor with less than an hour on it. Item was in a large lot I bought of remaining inventory from a local heating and air guy. It appears as though it has been rebuilt but I can't guarantee that so to error on the safe side please consider it parts for repair. I can tell you that the shaft spins very smoothly. Paint is chipping off in numerous areas probably from being stored poorly. There are a few very small minor dents. I don't claim to be an expert on these but I would say there is a high probability that it will work fine. Again.
