Normally I would get right down to the model number on an item first. But this one has an assortment of different numbers, so I have saved them for the second paragraph. On the motor itself the first number you come to is MOT 2193. And that is larger than the other numbers so I will assume it takes priority. The label says it is a part number X70500149-08-7. Model number K55HXDHN-308, MFG. number L04 C. Why all those numbers would be necessary for a fan motor totally escapes me. To complicate matters. The motor has a ServiceFirst label on the box, and their part number is MOT02193. Their label also says that the manufacturer’s part number is K055DHN0308721B which isn’t even all that close to the model number on the fan motor itself. Maybe that is the number for the fan motor WITH the start capacitor attached. As is the case here. The motor appears to be new/unused in the original box. Which is itself a bit the worse for wear(the box, not the motor) It is untested and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. You are bidding on a hardly used 1/2 Horsepower GE 2.3 ECM motor and control unit. I am not an HVAC expert so I encourage you to do your research before bidding. This motor is made of two parts. One is the motor and the other is a programmed control section with a series of input and output pins. These parts can be separated. The control section is programmed to spin this motor in a counter clockwise direction with a specific rpm. This motor does work and the motor behaves normally. That was placed back in the box of the replacement since the branding differs between the box label and motor label. I obtained this at an estate sale. The widow believed it was working when it was stored by her husband years ago. I have no way to bench test this motor in operation to verify this. But I did perform some basic electrical checks with a DVM to ascertain its condition.
