You are bidding on a hardly used 1/2 Horsepower GE 2.3 ECM motor and control unit. I am not an HVAC expert so I encourage you to do your research before bidding. This motor is made of two parts. One is the motor and the other is a programmed control section with a series of input and output pins. These parts can be separated. The control section is programmed to spin this motor in a counter clockwise direction with a specific rpm. This motor does work and the motor behaves normally. You will have to be sure the control unit will be a match for your application. This is an used untested unknown condition 4 wire residential air conditioning condenser fan motor from the looks of it. That was placed back in the box of the replacement since the branding differs between the box label and motor label. I obtained this at an estate sale. The widow believed it was working when it was stored by her husband years ago. I have no way to bench test this motor in operation to verify this. But I did perform some basic electrical checks with a DVM to ascertain its condition. Black to Orange: 54.8 Ohms Black to Brown: 63.0 Ohms Brown to Orange: 117.5 Ohms Tone check Black to motor frame: no beep Tone check Brown to motor frame: no beep Tone check Orange to motor frame: no beep Tone check top frame to bottom frame: beep Tone check top frame to housing: beep. Up for bids is a GE HVAC condenser fan motor 5KCP39GF 1/5HP 825RPM 208V HC37GE210A- fits payne. Carrier, and a variety of other units. Case is a little rusty on the outside but the motor is working perfectly. Shaft turns freely. Note that one case bolt is missing because I broke the tip of it off removing the motor from the condenser unit- I still have the bolt if you want it. It just isn't quite long enough to hold the motor to the fan shroud now. You can simply take one of the bolts out of the motor you are replacing and it's good as new!
