This motor is a little dinged up and has obviously been in a not so clean environment(before I got it) it was sold to me as“New” but I can’t in good conscious do that, it might never have been put in service, but it isn't new either. The speed is 1075 RPM(I assume that's the fastest speed. But I'm not sure. It pulls 2.5 amps, and requires a 5MFD/370V Capacitor, it's thermally protected and has a power output of 1/3 horsepower. Info I've discovered. But I'm not an expert, so if there is anything you know you need that I can check please let me know. This is a 4-speed motor. It has 7 wires. 2) Brown ones that go the a capacitor(5 MFD/370V) White which is the common, then Black, Green, Yellow, and Red which are the different speeds from fastest to slowest(I tested all of them, but I based the order of the speeds based on ohming the connections

GE 1/2 HP 1075 RPM 3 SPD BLOWER MOTOR 5KCP39PG9710ET
This is effectively a brand new old stock GE 3 speed(air over) blower motor in it's original box. This is a permanent split capacitor motor which runs most efficiently and gives this motor an energy saving rating. This motor was purchased new in 1982 from WW Grainger to be used in a squirrel cage blower unit to demonstrate static pressure levels for a physics experiment. It was never run more than 2 to 4 hours. I disassembled the project upon completion of the experiment and put the motor back in the original box. It has sat in my basement since that time and now it is time for clean out of the basement. This GE motor was made in Fort Wayne. Indiana, USA and weighs in the box 21 pounds. I have supplied the companion GE 10 UFD/370 volt motor run capacitor with mounting strap which was purchased at the same time as the motor. You will be ... moregetting an effectively new 1982 motor in it's original, albeit, shop worn box and guaranteed to work as a new one.
