Custom Made Fly Tying Table Top Unit includes Vise and Misc hand tools
This auction is for several items used for fly tying: a table top unit. A vise, and a bag with several small hand tools. I'll explain up front that I cannot answer any specific questions about these items as I do not have a CLUE what they all are! I purchased these items as a gift from a neighbor. The person the gift was intended for decided NOT to attempt fly fishing before I had a chance to gift these items. The table top unit measures approximately 18 3/4" wide, 11 1/2" deep, and 5" tall. It is very nicely crafted. The vise is heavy and substantial. Shipping is approximate, I will need to package it up and check with the post office before a final amount can be determined. Eames Round Table by Herman Miller Aluminum Group White Top, Very Good Condition
Description You're looking at a round table by produced by the Herman Miller Company. It was aquired for a recent photo shoot. which has sucessfully concluded. Budget restrictions direct that it be released from invantory. The top is of white laminate. It measures 36 inches in diameter by 1 1/8" thick. The white laminate is in immaculate condition. It's tough to photograph this unblemished goodness. if there were a blemish I'd have something to take a picture of. From floor to top the table measures 29 inches high. The top is ringed by a rubber-like black bumper edging that is in good used condition. It has a few smudges and one small area of damage(pictured) that measures about one inch. The smudges come off with a bit of attention. I've tried to picture the worst of the blemeshes. they really don't amount to much. ... moreThe top by every indication is original to the base. Seems that one of the philistines at the shoot attached the top to some sort of platform- thus there are extraneous screw holes on the underside of the top. These holes are visible only when laying on the ground looking up at the underside of the table. The underside retains a property tag from the legend Chicago trading firm Sakura Dellsher. As that firm became insolvent in 2000. You can rest assured that clear title to this table will be passed to the buyer. The legs are in patinated undamaged condition. Let me explain: I see no dents. Gouges, brakes, cracks, etc. in the aluminum legs or the steel posts that connect the legs to the table. What is evident is fourty years or so of patina on the legs, which I am lothe to remove. If you, the buyer would like to have these legs polished, I imagine the result would be beautiful and sparkly. Should you crave the mellow hue of unrestored cast aluminum. well, that's what's being offered. All told. The condition of this table is commensurate with professional adult use during it's lifetime. I'm sure someone can use this! I believe this to be the top of a Limbert double oval table model#138. This is for the top only. No base, no more pieces, just the top. See the pics, it is signed with the limbert brand, and splined as well. The dimensions are 36" wide, and just shy of 48" long. Untitled Document Antique Bhutanese Table Top Prayer Wheel Small standing prayer wheels such as this one are very popular in Bhutan yet practically unknown in the rest of the Buddhist Himalayas. The wheel is rotated by spinning the rod which protrudes through the top of the prayer wheel. And the base of the rod sits in what is probably an old shell for easy spinning. You can see two windows. One at the front and one at the back through the rotating container with the mantra texts. The Sanskrit syllables'OH MA NI PE ME HUM' were written at the surface of the container. This prayer wheel shows considerable age. The four panels of the housing would have originally been brightly painted. But are now darkened from age and smoke. We estimate that the prayer wheel was made around the beginning of the nineteenth century but it could be considerably ... moreolder. The base measures roughly 7 inches[17.5 cm] square. It is 8.0 inches[20.0 cm] to the top of the roof. A fine silver top antique 1903 dressing table jar. The silver lid is beautifully styled in an art nouveau influenced pattern of flowers and swirling ribbons. The crystal glass jar is intricately cut in a trellis design and there is a small traditional star cut on the base. The silver top is hallmarked with the initials HM for Henry Mathews of Birmingham. It also has an anchor mark for Birmingham. The lion donating Sterling quality silver, plus the date letter'C' for the year 1903. Offered for auction. A beautiful brass and glass cocktail table. The table is being offered for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY(NORTH-WEST SUBURBS of CHICAGO 60070. The glass top is 41-1/2 inches wide, 23 inches deep and is 5/8 of an inch thick. This makes for a very heavy piece that would be impractical to ship. The table has a brass base with fluted legs and is 17 inches tall. The glass has one small inconspicuous chip on the edge that would be difficult to see if not pointed out. MID CENTURY ATOMIC MOSAIC TILE TOP KIDNEY SHAPE AMOEBA COFFEE TABLE HAIRPIN LEGS
This is an antique vintage retro mid-century coffee table. It features a solid hardwood base. Hairpin legs, and a beautiful black pebble/ white micro square mosaic tiling. This style is often called: Atomic, Bio-morphic, Amoeba, Free Form, Kidney Bean, Boomerang and Eames style. I believe this was made approximately in the 1940's, 1950's or 1960's(at the latest) I know the Hair-Pin legs were first designed in the 1940's which is why I believe it could be that old. In any case, this is a very unique and quite intriguing coffee table. It measures approximately 10 inches high, 36 inches long, and 23 inches wide. The solid steel(I believe they are steel) Hairpin legs have some slight oxidization which in not very noticeable. The bottom of the table shows some ware/scratches and small light chipping. But the top seems to be in ... morereally nice shape! I didn't notice any major flaws! It is extremely gorgeous and I have never seen a table quite like this one! This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Extension Leaf Table. This holds antique Singer models 15. 27 and VS2 with rectangular bases. If a model 15 is installed, the oil drip pan needs to be removed. This dates to 1892-1895. The table measures 44-1/4" x 16-1/2" when opened and 35" when folded down. The machine opening is 14-3/4" x 7" There are holes for the treadle cord. The bonnet hardware measures 9-1/4" apart at the rear and approx. 10-3/4" front to back. The wood has some dark areas and rings. The table edge was some wear and some small chips. The hinges are good. There are mounting holes for the frame. The holes are 11" from front to back and 20-1/2" apart side to side. There are holes for scrolled drawer to be mounted on either side. This is an Antique Willcox& Gibbs Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Extension Leaf Table. This holds the"G" shaped Willcox& Gibbs machines with a round base that has a single screw for holding the machine in place. The table measures 41-3/4" x 16-1/8" when opened and 28-1/2" when folded down. There is a slot for the treadle cord. The bonnet hardware measures 12" apart at the rear and approx. 10" front to back. This was on an ornate treadle base with a patent date from the 1870's. I do not know exactly how old this table is. The wood has wear on top and is very dark in areas. The edges where the table folds has a lot of chipped and flaked veneer. There are gouges where the rear clips from the bonnet were repeatedly hitting the table. The hinges are good. Being presented for sale is this fabulous 19th century French Empire Mahogany Marble top Dressing Table Vanity with gilt ormolu. The details on this piece are truly beautiful! Brass accents adorn the mirror supports with brass acorn knobs securing the oval mirror to the supports. The original white& grey marble is inserted into the vanity top. A storage drawers below with a gorgeous angel type ormolu key escutcheon. The lock is present in the drawer but we do not have the key. Flanking the drawer are Roman Goddess type faces with plumage ormolu below.just splendid! This piece measures 55 inches to the top of the mirror. Petite antique table with removable top
Very pretty petite antique coffee table. This table is special in that it is two tables for the price of one! The overlay is a wood trimmed glass top. Wood is slightly separated. My guess is with a clamp would piece right back together. The glass provides a perfect table for drinks so you don't get any water marks. The under table is wood. So pretty and classic. Small chip as shown that with wood touch up pen could easily be covered. Legs are nicely detailed and cross stretcher adds a touch of class. Overall, a great table for any room. vintage industrial factory metal desk workbench table mercantile wood top
You are considering a vintage industrial metal desk with two drawers. The metal portion of the desk was salvaged out of an old factory by a friend. I cleaned it up. And then added a 3-board, rough cut lumber top. I lightly sanded the boards so there are both smooth and rough places on the wood. I whipped up my own version of gray stain trying to match the desk color. It was close, but regardless it works. Wherever the boards were rough, that area took the stain better than the smooth areas which gave me the look I was after. I have misplaced one of the rollers for the small drawer so it is working very rough. The big drawer works fine. As with any old piece you can expect scratches, dings, dents. chipped paint, knot holes, imperfections and surface rust. Please refer to the pictures. It is about 59" long x 29 3/4" deep x 37" ... moretall. I will not ship this desk. I may deliver it a short distance for a fee. If you must have it.
