From Retroplanet: Bromo-Seltzer was a very popular effervescent headache remedy and was known to be a great cure for hangovers. Isaac Emerson of Baltimore. Maryland was attempting to concoct a cure for headaches when he invented it in 1888. It was a combination of acetaminophen, sodium bicarbonate and citric acid that had to be dissolved in water before being drunk. Blue embossed tin or aluminum metal with white reflective plastic letters. Looks like its electrified in dark. Cool Pop Art piece for industrial decorating. Found in Kittery Maine barn sign came from local business circa 1965-1969 it is actually blue with white reflective letters but camera makes them look like neon lights they are just refective. Not electric! You can see colour blue on back of sign splotches of paint it is a great vibrant blue not primary more of a medium blue painted background. Great pop art piece spells out COMPANY. Measurements are approx 3.5 ft long and 10 inches high. Sign is in great shape for age could still be used for a business.
