Vintage Wilton 9-64 Woodworking/Patternmakers Vise, 10" Jaws!
Up for sale is a very nice Wilton woodworking vise in great. Original condition. Everything from the wooden jaws, handle bumpers and mint green paint is all original. I can't say 100% because I did replace the stop on the threaded operating shaft. It was missing when found so I made a new one and installed a new dowel pin. This prevents the vise from falling out of the stationary jaw when the quick release function is used. It has seen some use but still looks great for its age. The wooden jaw pads have minor dings. Nicks and cuts but no cracks or serious damage. The metal castings are sound and show no signs of stress or damage/repairs. I opted to keep it original so nothing was done other then wipe it off and service the quick release mechanism. It has been lightly oiled along with the 2 guide bars so it opens and closes smoothly The ... morejaws measure 10" and have a throat depth of 4 1/2" It opens approx 11 1/2" but another half inch could be squeezed out of it if needed I would say it weighs approx 35lbs

WILTON VISE TRADESMAN 1745, HARLEY DAVIDSON THEME, EXCELLENT!!
Two great American names. Harley Davidson and USA Made Wilton vises. We all know this 4 1/2" Tradesman series 1745 is Ductile Iron rated at 60,000 psi. is a great vise. Dated 3-12 this beauty has seen little work. Since I cleaned lubed and painted it red, I decide to throw a Harley sticker on the side. This one would look slick in your garage. Other than wire brushing the faded old paint off, I did nothing besides painting to cosmetically enhance this vise. Everything is original to this vise, the jaws, top and bottom, swivel handles, spindle handle, even the rubber stop washers. Operation is flawless and it stuns in the photos.
