For auction is a Vintage Littco No. 112 Bench Vise- 3-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" deep capacity with built in pipe jaws. This nice U.S.A. vise was manufactured by the Littlestown Hardware& Foundry Company in Littlestown. PA. The Littlestown Foundry is still in business as a commercial aluminum foundry but iron casting production ended in 1990. This vintage vise is in good to very good used condition and is fully functional. It was torn down for cleaning. The original green factory paint is 80% intact. There are some typical nicks and dents but the jaws are tight and in good condition and the anvil part is flat. The screws and handles are clean and straight. There is a casting flaw near the swivel base tightening bolt that appears to be factory original based on the paint appearance and a small part of the thin cast housing near the front ... morehandle was broken away. Neither of these issues affect the use in any way. Most of the items I sell are from estate sales. Auctions, flea markets, etc. I clean them as necessary to properly evaluate the condition and allow you to judge the actual item rather than a previous owner’s dirt. This is a used Dyna King Fly Tying Vise that is about 8 years old. The vise is in very good shape with the exception of the jaws which have some cosmetic spots of corrosion(see photo#2) Also. There are a few flecks of paint/varnish here and there. The jaws other moving parts of the vise function without issue. This vise is a full rotary vice with the Dyna King standard jaws capable of handling size 8-22 hooks. It comes with a clamp stand, trim bag, and light weight bobbin hanger.
