South Bend Heavy 10 Ten Lathe -10x54 with Tooling - 4.5' bed ready to make chips
South Bend Heavy 10 lathe with taper attachment. Hard to find 4.5' hardened bed. Ways are in superb shape with only superficial nicks, V's are smooth showing no ware throughout the length. Has double tumbler gear box and the better cam operated apron clutch. Spindle is 2 1/4"8tpi and 1 3/8" through hole. Motor is 1hp 220volt 3 phase and comes with electronics, all you need is power. The taper attachment has a broken locking lever, otherwise its all there. Thread dial is included. Cabinet is 65" x 25" Lots of tooling included also. A Rohm Supra chuck and a Grand live center. A South Bend brand 5" 3-jaw reversible chuck with backing plate. A 7" face plate and a 6" 3-jaw(2piece! Buck chuck no back plate. There is also a Phase 2 wedge type quick-change tool post set which includes a knurling holder, ... moreboring, parting and 2x turning holders. Along with miscellaneous carbide tooling and a HSS boring bar set, like new. There is also the tailstock and carriage locking wrenches. This is a real nice machine. The chuck is a Skinner made for South Bend, part number 4006-51. The spindle mount is 2 1/4 by 8 threads per inch, which fits the Heavy 10(10L) and 13 inch South Bend lathes, as well as some Logan lathes. Up for sale is 6 miscellaneous Vintage fishing reels. I don't know a whole lot about any of the reels but I'm sure the specs as well as line capacity can be found online. I will do my best to describe what I can about them. First is the Shakespeare Wonder reel 1700 model DJ. Made in the USA. This is a beautiful reel and is in very good condition cosmetically as well as mechanically. It is working and ready to fish. Next is the Shakespeare 1765, also made in the USA. This reel does show a little more wear cosmetically but is in good condition mechanically. Third is the South Bend Spin Cast 66. Made in the USA. This reel has paint missing but it does not affect the performance of the reel as it is in good working condition mechanically as well. Fourth is the FJORD fishing reel. South Bend Bamboo Fly Rod. Model#50, 9ft 2-2. Very good+ condition, only flaw appears that the finish is rough in spots. All sections are the same length, I see no sign of repairs. Reel seat does not appear to have ever had a reel mounted. Bag and tube appear original for this rod. I think this is about a 7 weight. You are bidding on a 12 size. 19 jewel South Bend antique pocket watch. The watch is currently running. Although I have not timed it. The amplitude is a bit low, and I suspect it would likely benefit from a cleaning and oiling. The movement looks good. Although there is a little bit of rust on the winding wheels and on the regulator. The case has a hinged back and a pop-off bezel. The case is Wadsworth gold filled. It has a pretty significant area of wear-through on one side of the case band and the bottom close to the hinge(I've tried to show close ups of these areas) as well as on the bow. The crown is badly worn. The back hinge is tight. The crystal is plastic and looks good. The dial shows some tarnish. As well as some fading in the minute track and the signature. It may be an old refinish. There is also an uneven glossy look to the ... moreedges of the dial, possibly some glue reside from old crystal cement. The dial looks decent from a foot away.
