Up for auction is this Rockwell/Delta 20" wood planer. This was built in December of 1984 and has seen light use all of its life. I bought this out of a high school wood shop that was abandoned over a decade ago. This is in great running condition and is very solidly built. Great for a residential garage shop. All of the feed rollers and bearings are smooth like they should be. This has high quality SKF bearings. The weight is close to 1300 pounds. The 4 knives are sharp and this is ready to use. This is powered by a Rockwell 5HP single phase motor 3450RPM that draws 21 amps 230 volts. This has feed rates of 16 and 28 feet per minute. only issue I see is the rapid table feed will kick out of gear occasionally and therefore needs adjusting. Good used Powermatic 66. 2003 model year. 5 horsepower, single-phase. Everything works great. Used in one-man shop from 2003-2010. Has been pretty much been sitting since then, except for the occasional project. Includes the Jessem Mast- R- Slide. Which is the best aftermarket sliding table available in my opinion. And yes, I have used the larger ones such as Exaktor. The Jessem cost $500 and has stayed square without any adjustments since the day I put it on(2007 ish) Also includes the Excalibur overarm blade guard/dust-collection port, which does a great job of keeping your fingers off of the blade and the dust out of your face. I'm also including a Freud stacked dado set, 3 10-inch blades, and the original blade guard and miter gauge. For Sale is my 16" Powermatic planer. I completely rebuilt it a few years ago. Included having the table and chip breaker and pressure bar milled flat. Rollers trued, all new bearings in the cutterhead, table thrust bearings. I repainted it matching green from the 70's Powermatic metallic green with automotive paint. The pictures rendered the color kind of funny, but it matches almost perfect to their metallic green from the mid 70's. my favorite PM color) I also relocated the motor under the base so the footprint isn't so big. My only wish is to put a proper magnetic starter on it. It has a cheap China job on it now. It has a 3hp single phase 220 motor in it. It seems small but is perfectly adequate for everything I've put through it. I also built a belt guard but have yet to finish it. It is on a quick welded together ... morebase so it can be moved around. It weighs about 1200 lbs. It is in my garage level with the street, so you would need to bring something to pick it up or roll up onto a truck or trailer. this is a pick up item only.
