Peck stow& Wilcox Co. Made in USA# 41 7E slip rolls. Ready to use. All gears are good. All adjustments work. Nothings busted or has been welded on. Large 3" rollers, the top one look's like it has been turned down alittle for most it's lenght I don't know why perhaps for a special use application but it shouldn't interfere for most general purpose use. This is a well built industrial application unit, made to do serious work. The actuall length of the rolls is 43" No crack handles, I just used a adjustable wrench as I didn't use it a whole lot& I picked up a smaller 24" unit that will serve most my needs. Check out your MSC, there imported unit with 3" dia. rolls is 2500.00& there USA made 3" dia. is 3375.00& thats without the stand. Item: Pair of ANTIQUE“PEXTO” Split-Handle Screwdrivers Note: Recently I added a THIRD large screwdriver to this listing. That is why it is Photographed alone(photo#2) Description: For sale is a TRIO of Late 1800’s Split Handle Slot Screwdrivers made by“PEXTO” Peck. Stow, Wilcox Company) The actual stamping on the two smaller screwdrivers is: Solbar– Pexto– Made in U.S.A. Unless I am mistaken. Solbar” simply means“solid bar” All(3) screwdrivers are completely identical except in size. The largest screwdriver measures 14 1/2"long and has a 3/8" wide blade. It is(stamped#8) on the blade itself. The second largest one(stamped#5) measures 9 ¼” long with approx. 3/8” wide blade. The shorter(stamped#3) measures 7 ¼” long with approx. 2/8” wide blade. Another thing they all have in common is their extreme high quality! You would ... morenot believe the sturdiness and weight of each of these. Totally solid wood and Iron riveted handles. Never has the phrase“they don’t make’em like they used to” been more appropriate. I am sure my photos will best further describe this great pair of Antique American Made Tools. Condition: Overall and Especially for their age. All(3) screwdrivers are in Excellent Condition. The largest screwdriver is cleaner than the smaller two. But the blade is more rounded around the edge. It all evens out basically. There i s some age appropriate tarnishing of the metal. Some sporadic scuffs and nicks in the wood and some minor paint spots. Remember. These are all 80+ years old! All of them are totally sound and free of any cracks. The wood handles are firmly attached. On a scale of 1– 10(ten being mint) I can confidently rate this trio to be a solid 7.5 and that is only because of the sporadic scuffs/nicks. This is a WHITNEY METAL No. 7 1/2 hand punch. Has 3 1/2 tons of punching power. This hand punch can pop a 1/4" hole through 3/16" thick mild steel in seconds. Needs no electricity. Which is a plus for some job site installs/fabricating. Very quick and convenient, great time saver. The WHITNEY has roller bearings in the working end. Much better than the Whitney No. 2 punches. Factory Pexto 4 foot powered slip roll roller former machine rare
RARE Factory pexto powered slip rolls in excellent working shape. Not a converted hand roller like most you see for sale. Factory stand too. 48 inch long x 3 inch rolls. forward/reverse switch. 220 volt 3 phase. The rear roller has 3 factory groves along the width on the rolls. I do not know why as I have not seen one like this before. Check photos good you can see they are factory groves. We rolled a piece of 16ga galv and it did not leave any marks. GREAT PAIR OF VINTAGE CALIPERS 1. LUFKIN RULE 10 1/2 in Caliper with Fine Tune Knob Made in Saginaw. MI USA 2. PEXTO 8 in Caliper with original adjustment know and Set Screw Made in the USA DESCRIPTION: Vintage Calipers of my late Step Father who passed away many years ago. As a mechanic and general jack of all trades he had stuff that I may never know what it was used for but a lot was left to him by his Step Father in Homer. AK back in the 1980's. Both in original condition with original knobs and both slide nicely and adjustment screws work handily. In very good shape for their age. I have included condition assessment and closeup pictures to show the integrity of the arms. The larger Lufkin appears to be an inside caliper, but reversing the fine tune knob maybe could make it an outside also. Pexto Wilcox, 52" Sheet Metal Shear, Electric, Fabrication
Electric Sheet Metal Shear Material Capability: 14 Gauge Mild Steel. Material Capacity: 4' of Sheet Metal. Electrical: 440V Three Phase capable. Wiring has been bumped down to run off 220V. Weight: Approx. 3500 lbs. Machine includes: 2 front material support arms. 2 rear cut length measuring rods. 1 adjustable depth gauge fence. Attached to the feet is steel tubing stitch welded to the feet with steel casters. This has helped in moving and transporting equipment many times. This machine is in working condition. Machine works great! It cuts sheet metal like butter and with no effort at all. I really hate to let it go it is definitely a once in a lifetime find and a nice piece of history. This machine prevents the operator for having to ask for a coworker to jump on the stomp sheer pedal or wait because the air compressor needs to build ... moreup pressure to finish the cut. Just plug it in. Turn it on, wait a minute for the power to spool up, and apply light pressure to the orange foot bar. For pickup I recommend a two axle trailer with a winch and ramps. Vintage adjustable Pexto and Moore 6 inch pipe wrenches
The Pexto is the all steel wrench and has some minor dings and some pitting. But is still a good wrench with fine jaws. The wood handle Moore Drop Forging Co. wrench has a fine wood handle without cracks and most original paint. It has some minor pitting but no dings and has fine jaws. Both wrenches work fine and have good springs to position the head. I will ship free by priority mail. I sell only in the continental U.S. and only accept Pay-pal.
