This sale is for one EXCELLENT MITUTOYO Japan 200-1000mm INSIDE MICROMETER SET 141-118 Complete#511. but is in excellent condition. And from appearance of the rods with rubber seals they may have not been used at all. The micormeter head some minor marks and possiblly some specks of rubber from the foam that is aging, the appears to be some very tiny specks of oxidation from the deteriorating foam. This is almost invisible and appears to have no impact on use. There are several inventory number 313655 etchings on the micrometer head and rods, and the micrometer head has another M171 the case is good inside and the outside save the foam material and it does have the petina of use, please see photographs for more detail. I don’t know anything about these as they were my great uncle’s who used them working in the railroad industry many years ago. Up for bid is a vintage Stanley inside outside micrometer type measuring device that's made of brass and wood. The patina on both is something that would make a piece of furniture increase in value. The piece slides out to measure the how wide something is and the piece slides back and forth OK but it's evident it hasn't been used much lately. it doesn't feel like it has ball bearings helping it along. But it goes fine) The brass could be cleaned up if you preferred but I left it as is because it looks cool how it sits and it is still usable. First let me say. I am a CNC programmer for over 10 years and this set of micrometers is in Superior shape. Also I have checked it out to make sure it is in perfect working shape. Along with having a certified QC worker check it out also. These mics are all right on! You will be happy with these mics. They work smooth and are very accurate. These mics were over $2200 new! They also come with an 4" extension. That works great when attached. 3 PC set: Mitutoyo.275-35" 0001" 350-425/0001.425-500/0001" Extension and all wrenches included. Also comes with the ring gages. This set looks to be never really used! It only has some sand marks under the stickers on each mic. Where someone sanded off of scribe marks. This does not effect the function of these at all though. Set of Lufkin rods (only) for inside Micrometer
This set contains the rods and wrenches only. There is no micrometer. The span of measurement is from 1 1/2- 32" There is some light surface rust that can easily be cleaned off on most of the rods. I bought a bunch of tools from a machinist who retired and this is the way I got this set. I am not a dealer I do not run a business so anything I sell on ebay is my own personal stuff and is not returnable.
