Used this serving tray in connection with a wedding. Loved the rose desi gn in the glass. This is ac tually an embroidered piece betwee n two pieces of glass and held in place with the rubber gasket(shown in last picture) I have used the piece also without the design in place. And just as a silver rimmed glass serving platter. Candidly though you need patience if you want to switch back and forth- not that quick to remove the gasket holding the glass to take out the pattern and then put the piece back together and vice versa. Vintage English Silver Mfg. Corp Chafing Dish with 3qt. Pyrex Glass Insert
This is a really nice chafing dish with vintage Pyrex 3qt glass insert. The outside does have some spotting and light scratches but the glass insert is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The Pyrex dish holds 3 quarts and measures 10 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep and is stamped on the bottom which reads 026 3qt. Trademark Pyrex, Made In USA, C-5, for oven use only. The chafing dish at it's widest point measures 12" wide and 4" tall without the lid.

Antique Sarreguemines 1 Liter Stein Hand Painted Porcelain Lid Insert Circa 1880
Important one liter lidded and pewter footed stein made circa 1880 at the famed Sarreguemines factory. The stein lid has a hand painted porcelain insert that depicts a man in a Tiroler costume wooing two women with a musical instrument. The thumb of the lid is in the shape of a wolf's head. There is a pewter ring around the foot of the stein body. It is marked with an impressed" SARREGUEMINES" and a"G" There is a name engraved on the lid. But I cannot read it. This stein is in excellent condition. There is no damage to the lid, foot or body. The porcelain insert is in excellent condition. The lid fits tight to the handle and the lid hinge is tight. This is a real gem. I have spent a long time searching for a similar Sarreguemines stein with no luck. The majolica style steins made circa 1900 are beautiful. And much ... moremore common. I haven't found anything similar to this stein. My dating of it is based on research of Sarreguemines marks on other wares. The mark on this stein was used from the 1860s to 1880. With no comparables for pricing. I have placed a very high BIN price but I will accept offers. I don't expect this stein will be available for 7 days, so if you want it, bid early and bid high.

Offering many different colores of chippy paint. I have sealed its surface to prevent any more paint coming off. The Tile is sealed on the backside with the original piece of wood that backed the mirror. The whole cabinet has been repainted inside and out and I have destressed its surface to make it look old and shabby(it already was) I have added 2 Large"D" hooks for easy hanging Picture 9. This cabinet would look wonderful in any room hanging on the wall or sitting on a counter or table. Victorian SP Open Salt W/ Reticulated Pattern & Faces On Feet + Cranberry Insert
Description At auction is a fine Victorian open salt which measures 3" in diameter and stands 1 3/4" tall on three paw feet. It has a row of beading around the top rim and an overall reticulated pattern around the sides. The three feet feature nouveau style lady faces with flowing hair framing their faces. The insert is cranberry glass and is 2 3/8" in diameter. 1 1/8" tall. The piece is unmarked but is guaranteed old and as described. It is in very good condition with no bending or dents and little wear on the silver. The insert has no cracks or chips on the inside of the rim. But the outside of the rim has a good deal of chips which can't be seen when the piece is inserted. Beautiful old salt from the 1880'90's. Thanks for looking.

There was a time when even the humblest objects were produced with beautiful. Decorative details, as this wonderful, cast iron fireplace grate illustrates. The large back plate is adorned with a deep relief casting, the charming and whimsical image of a grinning, winking moon face set in a field of six-pointed stars. Think of it as a delightful piece of jewelry for your hearth. Condition is rustic. Yet, grand. Part of the fire-bed swivels and lifts out to help with ash removal. The back plate also lifts out. Measures 19 3/4" across the front at its widest point, 14" tall at its tallest point, and 10" deep. This piece was found in New England. The first region of the US to be transformed by the Industrial Revolution in the 19th C, and I believe it originated there in one of the early foundries. Victorian Antique Cow finial Butter Dish cobalt insert grapes leaves silverplate
Lovely Butter dish with cobalt blue glass insert is 6 inches in diameter at its widest by 3 inches high. On the bottom is what looks like CJ however it is not clear and may be something else. There is light plate wear. And the cow finial appears to have been replaced with a new nut. The cow has a horn half broken off. As can be seen in the second photo. I did not clean it and is quite black with tarnish. The lower portion has the grapes and leaves design. There are white specks in the photos of the cobalt glass which are air bubbles. And the bottom of the glass bowl has some scratches. Our items are collectible vintage and antique and may show signs of wear as they are not new. May require cleaning and are sold as is.

CUSTOMIZED brass insert screwed Hohner Super 270 Chromatic C Harmonica (#110)
This is a deceptive looking harmonica. At first glance. It looks like a vintage model because of the carrying case, but inside is a craftily customized Super 270. The customization primarily involved the installation of threaded brass tubing for attaching reeds plates and mouthpiece to the wooden comb and do away with traditional nails. The comb is completely without sign of warp or split, proof of the effectiveness of the moisture sealing that was done. Even the metal cover posts are of elegantly carved solid brass that thread into the reeds plate. I did not do the customization job. In a small of piece of paper included in the package is printed the name"Alan Black Schackner" possibly the man who did this splendid work, who, from reliable sources, was a musician and harmonica technician par excellence. The harmonica and the case ... moreare in excellent condition, except for the stickers if removed from the top cover of the case could damaged the finish. Overall, its unique build and reputable source could eventually qualify it as a potential collector's item. I only did the following work to make this harp health safe and playable: 1) Disassembled completely(removed also all windsavers) 2) Soaked covers. Mouthpiece, slider, back plate, cover plate, windsavers, reeds plates and hardware in denture tablet solution and washed with detergent and water; 3) Cleaned reeds plates with naval jelly and washed with detergent and water; 4) Refinished comb surface; 5) Treated sealed wooden comb with wood oil; 6) Gapped. Plinked and aligned all reeds; 7) Adjusted pitch of reeds to A4=442 hz. +- 10 cents; 8) Exposed all parts including case to ultra violet rays sterilizer; 9) Installed new and/or reusable Hohner windsavers; 10) Reassembled; 11) Test tuning and response with Hohner"Examina I" 12 Sprayed isopropyl alcohol on surface areas and wiped clean.
