Ellis Dividing Head with Accessory 360 Base
Up for your consideration is a used. But in excellent condition, American made Ellis dividing head. This head comes with the original 3 plates and a Buck 3 jaw, set thru chuck. Both the dividing head and chuck are silky smooth. The threads on the Buck chuck are 1 3/4" 8 tpi. Please notice that this dividing head also has a plate behind the chuck mount that allows it to easily lock into repeatable positions without using the dividing plate feature. As a bonus, you will also be getting an interchangeable secondary 360 degree base, thus allowing very intricate gear cutting and machining. for sale is one Kearney& Trecker dividing head with a tailstock/footstock they both have the same numbers. im not exactly sure of the model. it has about 6-1/16 from the center to where the dividing head sits on the machine. it has a 3 jaw Cushman chuck with reversible jaws. I don't not have the chuck key but its nothing special. the opposite side has a#50 machine taper. I have the 2 common plates as shown in pictures. the chuck spins 1 revolution for every 5 revolutions of the handle. If you have any questions at all please ask. thanks for looking.
