For sale is a good used 4 jaw metal lathe chuck. It is just under 10 inches in diameter with just about a 2" bore. Unknown brand. Appears to work as it should. Clausing/Colchester 13x36 heavy duty, geared-head precision lathe - turret
This is a good running lathe. Needed a larger lathe for my shop that's why its up for sale. It comes with every thing in the pictures. It has a coolant pump and hose inside the center door. Most of the tool holders are aloris and a few are armstrong. The bed has some grinding under the chuck for more clearance nothing rides on that spot. The steady rest needs the fingers to function. This machine runs quiet. Will load onto truck free. Pratt Burnerd collet set and collet closer.

The tracer attachment seems to work very well, runs smooth. This allows either a round or flat template to be installed behind the bed and the tracer will duplicate it. Can be used to cut tapers as well. The lathe is on the original cabinet with some dinges, scratches and minor dents. The lathe itself was repainted because most of the paint had worn off. The old oil cups on the carriage have been replaced with new ones as the old ones were easily broken. The ways look good, no lip, very smooth with minor scratches. The backlash is about 1/8 turn on all handles. The power feed and threading work fine. Lathe runs fine and all functions seem to work good. This lathe has the most tooling of any lathe we have had. Spindle is L0, bore is about 1 1/2" This machine can be picked up from my shop which is 10 miles south and east of downtown Saint Louis. Missouri, forklift loading is free. Possibly a South Bend since it has the single V-and one flat for the mounting. Comes with both rollers and a new set of brass jaws. The rests and rollers are used, but in good condition. You are bidding on a genuine Buck 6" 6 jaw lathe chuck. This has NO mounting plate. You will have to provide one to fit your lathe. This chuck comes with 6 2-piece jaws, and the removable extension of the 2-piece jaw. The extensions are stamped 10050 33. 3 of the extensions are mounted, and 3 are not, because the bolts to mount the other 3 extensions are not included. Key is included. I see no damage. The jaws are nice, they do not wiggle, are tight in ways. I see no evidence of work piece slipping in the jaws, the jaws look new. The chuck operates smooth with the key. Clausing model no. 7525 milling vise in very good condition. Ways are clean. Motion is tight, and functions as it should. Some minor milling marks on the vise, as pictured. The nut and screw appear to have about 10-15 thousands of hysteresis. Base is just under 4" OD(about 3 15/16" I obtained this with a Clausing 12" MK3a lathe but it looks like it will fit many others. Comes with cheap wrench shown(fits the angle adjustment nuts) and what appear to be the original factory V-blocks. Handle will be removed for shipping. This is a Union(U.S.A. made) 3jaw lathe chuck with L-00 mount native(not a backplate) This chuck has a ring around the O.D. of rust. You can see in the pic. It also has a few dings here or there. However, none of these cosmetic issues alter the function and I think this should be a good working chuck for someone. Tool post body diameter is 1.2" Stands 4 1/32" tall not counting the bolt. Clamping bolt is ½” diameter X 3” long. With a ½” square head. Post slot is.625” wide. Slot length is 2.100” Clamp bolt is mostly free and moves freely with light pressure with a wrench. It’s a little too tight to move completely by hand. Threads on end of bolt are mushroomed slightly. So it can’t be easily removed completely. The bolt could be removed and cleaned up easily if you wanted to put a little bit of work into it. I could have cleaned it up to work freely. But many buyers want them in original condition. There is a light brownish patina on the parts, which ... moreI have not removed. The holder is fully functional just as it is. Smaller washer is 1 3/4” X 2 1/32” X ¼” thick. This one fits the post perfectly. 2nd larger washer is about 2” X 2 3/8 X 7/16” thick. And was probably made to fit a certain lathe. You would need to machine it to fit your lathe, or make a similar washer to match your lathe. Rocker is 3” long and 5/8” wide. Matching washer is 3” diameter. A nominal 5/8” tool fits in the slot easily.

Up for auction a large 12" 4jaw lathe chuck with integral D1-6 mount. I believe this is probably an older piece. USA made probably but I can't find a name on it. I can find 12" D1-6, 562, and markings indicating the diameter size of each groove but no manufacturer's name. It is a fair bit grimy and it feels like there is some back and forth slop in at least a couple of the jaws; but this is a used piece and should probably have some good use left in it. It looks well built and has two piece jaws and other nice features. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! Unless you want to arrange freight at your own time/ expense if paid for up front.

A local company is in the process of relocating its machine shop facility. As a result. Any surplus-duplicate-unused tools will be designated for disposition. These items will be from either the machine shop or the prototype shop, and they all appear to be in good condition. Offered here is a 5-C Collet Nose piece and a Head Stock Center which I was told came from one of the 15" Lathes. The lathes I saw in the shop were Clausings and LeBlond. But I am not sure which lathe these were from. To help determine if these will fit your spindle, I measure the taper as 2.490" on the large diameter and 2.345" on the small diameter(measured over a length of about 3-1/8" Both of these appear to have been ... moreunused, and as a result of sitting in storage have developed some areas of light rust. They could use a clean and polish, and should be ready to be put into service.

Poland D1-6 8" 3 Jaw Lathe Chuck mount pin back monarch clausing leblond three
Up for auction is an 8" 3-jaw chuck with D1-6 integral mount. No chuck wrench included. I was able to turn it with a ratchet and it seemed to move smooth and well without much slop. The chuck does have 2 damaged wrench spots as pictured, the third might be a little rounded out as well. The face of the chuck looks pretty good- can't see a brand name- but says made in Poland. The taper mount looks nice and smooth, the chuck does have built up dirt/ old grease in nooks here and there, plus some rust on the jaws as pictured. Review pictures carefully, the jaws will have to be unbolted for shipment- which is free!

Change gears for? They are 1/2" thick. 1/2" center hole with 1/8" keyway slot. Teeth are 16DP. Gears are 32,44,46,48,52, 56 tooth. Would appreciate info if anyone knows what they fit. VINTAGE LATHE 5-WAY MICROMETER THREAD STOP - LOGAN SOUTH BEND SHELDON CLAUSING
This is a 5-position lathe threading stop that's clamps to the bed. From it's quality I think it was made in USA but I can't see a name on it. It's in great condition(could use some cleaning) and the moving parts have some sort of brass like coating I think. It has a nice ratchet movement and I don't see any damage to the rods.
