I think this is for a South Bend Heavy 10" Here is how to tell from center of mounting hole to center of leadscrew is app. 2.30 inches. 32 teeth on gear& 1.33" in dia. Got note saying this might be Clausing Lathe! Hey swfltool. This is from a clausing lathe fits late model 4800 along with 4900/5300/5400/5900/6300 series lathe.

Offered here is a 10/12" diameter face plate which has a 2-1/4" x 8 mounting thread. It has the ID Lfp- 101T stamped into the rear edge of the plate. This was from an older 12" Clausing Lathe. And should be suitable for use on other similar size lathes that accept 2-1/4" x 8 tooling, such as Sheldon Lathe.

Horton 8" Independent 4 Jaw Lathe Chuck #150 For South Bend / Clausing
This is a Horton 8" 4 jaw lathe chuck. The backing plate bore is 1 1/2" x 10-TPI. This big chuck is in excellent condition. It has been cleaned and lubed and operates perfectly. The jaws are mint. The only minor flaw with this chuck is that the threads in the backing plate have a couple of tiny chips missing. But doesn't interfere with it's operation or function what so ever. I'm pretty sure that it fits Clausing lathes. This is a nice, big chuck for cheap money. Free insured shipping to the lower 48.

A local company is in the process of re-locating its machine shop facility. In doing so. The maintenance shop is being liquidated along with any surplus tools and accessories from the machine shop. As the pieces are released for disposition they will be listed for sale. I will do my best to describe the items accurately but sale is final so please feel free to ask any questions you might have. Offered here is an assortment of 13 Mandrels which had been used on a 12" Clausing Lathe. These would also be suitable for use on other model lathes. As well as a cylindrical grinder. The mandrels range in diameter from 0.254" to 15/16" and the overall lengths vary from 6-1/2" to 5" Some of the mandrels are marked, others are not. I measured them as accurately as I was able in order to verify the sizes. Also, note that the 7/16" ... moremandrel is wrapped in a preservative paper, so I am not sure if it was ever used. The 3/4" has some scoring where the work spun on the mandrel and one or two of the others might have an incidental mark. In general all of the mandrels look to be in good condition and ready for use. The sizes are as follows: 15/16" 13/16" thisis a 7/8 ground to 0.813) 3/4" 5/8" 0.620; 0.615; 1/2" 15/32; 7/16; 3/8; 5/16; 0.254 I think the measurements are very close.
