JFK 5C LATHE COLLET CLOSER DRAWBAR SET UP -LOGAN SOUTH BEND CLAUSING ENCO ROYAL
This is a JFK 5C lathe collet closer in good condition. It is just the collet closer part(no nose adptor etc) and you might need additional parts to make it function. The barrel length is shown in the pictures. I think this was being used on a Clausing or Logan lathe(I'm not sure) However, i t's a quality made american tool and could probably be adapted to fit many different lathes. It's great shape with no damage I can see apart from some minor staining. The bearing feels very good. Please see pictures to see exactly what is included. Don't miss this one! The threaded back is removable and is 1 3/4" 8 thread which fits some very old South Bend lathes as well as some Clausing Lathes, Sheldon Lathes as well as at least one Dividing Head Brand. The chuck is a hollow back chuck with a 1 7/8" thick body which keeps the weight of the chuck down to about 17 1/2 lbs. Lathe Steady Rest parts I believe from a Clausing lathe but should also fit many others. These definitely fit the clausing 1300 and probably fit the 1500 as well as others with a 1" diameter. They are 1" in Diameter and about 5.5" long with a slot running up the side and around the top adjustment area. Being sold in real good working condition(I don't think these were ever used) with normal scratches etc from being in a metal shop. Sold as is as pictured.

Clausing Colchester 15 lathe for parts, $500 start, no reserve
This is a Cochester 15 inch lathe we bought for parts. We fixed the machine in question and will try to sell this before scrapping it. I will load it on your truck free. I know it was 230 3 phase but the electrical box is gone or a mess. no tail stock or cross slide. What you see is what you get. Listed as is. No returns. If you want to come here and strip it I won't care. If I have it stripped and palletize the parts there will be reasonable fee. Sheet metal and head stock seem like they're all there but I won't make any promises. We bought a set of Gamet bearings for a similar machine and they were over $5.000.

Its a great lathe to keep running. Broken gears are pretty easy to have welded up. But then again if you can find one on Ebay, why not get a drop in. Parting out an ATLAS CLAUSING model 4804 serial number 15600 range. I had to buy TWO of them to get mine running well enough for my needs which are fairly critical. Unfortunately I fell prey to a BIG MACHINERY DEALER IN MINN. who was not necessarily the most honest and forthright. I thought I was getting a FINE machine. Instead I got a FINE butt kicking and two lathes that BOTH needed some help. So I pulled a few parts and accessories and have mine(original and older) running stellar. I don't expect to be breaking gears and destroying things so the balance of the lathe needs to go and rather quickly as I am short of room. Steady rest for Harrison M250 lathe or Clausing 11"
Up for sale is a steady rest for a Harrison M250 lathe. Rebadged and sold as a Clausing 11" in the US in the 1980's through 1990's(if I remember right) I have two. And have never needed more than one. Need to clear out some space. Throat is just under 4" The three followers are brass. And are independantly adjustable. Very nice condition overall. It has seen very little use. On the backside, there is a fair amount of sticky residue from storage grease. I will clean that off before I ship.
