1 SANDVIK & 1 KENMETAL Boring Bar w/25 Carbide Inserts
Christmas come early! I have just opened another full tool box that I have not been in for at least a year. Its a 15 drawer Kobalt and it is stuffed to the gills. The next 50 or 60 items I list will be from this tool box and it is all lathe and mill related. First thing I want to try and give away is these Boring Bars. 1&1/2 inch diameter, one is 12 inches and the other is 8. The big one is a KENMETAL and the 8 inch is a SANDVIK, they both use the same inserts and that keeps it simple, two inserts are used on one edge but I just put new ones in the tools and put the used ones back in the storage case. If you look close you will see that one of the secondary locks is missing and that is why I keep them together as a pair, the lock can go on either tool and I never use more than one at a time, I believe they run around twelve bucks to replace ... moreor you may find one on an old tool no longer in use.
