For your consideration is an Original But MODIFIED Unimat 3-Jaw Chuck for Lathes DB 200- SL 1000: This is an original Unimat 3-Jaw Chuck. It will fit most older Unimat DB 200 and SL 1000 with a 12 mm/1 mm shaft. This item has been modified by cutting the outside step of each jaw. In order to accommodate a larger opening of the chuck without interfering with the base. The cutting was done well. The result is satisfying as you can handle larger pieces. It comes to the price of not catching the smaller pieces as well. The minimum size that this chuck handles is probably about 1/4" While it can accommodate probably about 1" without the jaws touching the bed. Unimat Lathe Tailstock and Live Center SL 1000, DB 200
Tailstock and live center for Unimat lathe in good operating condition. Quill feeds properly and bearing in live center feels smooth and turns freely. The only problem is- the crank knob is broken out of the plastic hand wheel. There is enough of the socket left that you can make up a knob. Stick it in place, fill that quarter of hand wheel recess with JB Weld, and it will be good as new. The wheel rim is not damaged and will work fine"as is" without repair. I have a Unimat lathe bed with milling column. And other lathe parts, listed in a different auction, if you buy the lathe bed this Tailstock, or any of the other parts, will ship with it for free!
