Here is an antique hand operationg drill press. I was told from a local tool man that this is from the 40's he thought? I have no idea. Up for auction is a vintage antique carpentry or woodworking 2 1/2" Chicago Mark"C" clamp recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition, but quite dirty, a bit rusty and could use a good cleaning with an agent such as WD-40 or similar lubricant to clean and make the opening and closing that much easier. Millers Falls 733 8" brace drill w 8 bits Irwin old vintage woodworking tools
Very old Millers Falls No. 733 8 inch ratcheting brace drill with 8 bits. Drill has some finish loss to wood and metal with signs of prior rust but overall is clean and ready to be put to work. Jaws and chuck are excellent and all moving parts work freely as they should. The 8 bits are used with rust and finish loss evident but I think will work as expected. Irwin pattern bits are largely a mix of brands with Irwin Mainbor Fulton? Union. Perfect, style with loss of finish and are 16, 14, 12, 12, 8 and 8. An expansive bit marked B H& M Co. This lot includes seven miscellaneous craft tools. A few of the wooden ones look like they could be antique. But I really have no sense of their age. There is: a magnifying glass- a weaving shuttle(this looks like wood. But it's actually an old plastic) a"Bead Easy" hook with instructions(it includes a few beads in the package. Which are hidden by the instructions in the picture) a pair of scissor-type things. Which are actually some sort of pliers/pincers(see close-ups) three tools that I can't identify: a plastic one in a worn plastic tube and two wooden ones I don't know much about these tools.
