You will be surprised how much they can hold, it's amazing. I goes out to the dunes and just drive and I have collect over 100 meteor fragment and about 27 full stones. For your consideration: I have a lot of(44) neodymium hard drive magnets. These magnets are 29mm long x 13mm wide x 2mm thick. These are taken from hard drives and separated from the backing plate. Except I don't destroy the nickel plating(please don't ask how I do it, I won't say) There maybe some blistering and witness marks, but the plating is still intact. If the inside is exposed to the air the magnet will corrode and form a black powder. The magnets are very strong for their size and have both a north pole and south pole on each face. These can be used for: super strong refrigerator magnets, magnetic brakes, power generation, science experiments or removing black sands from your sluice box or gold pan. These magnets are unforgiving they will literally fly across the table and slam into each other with enough force to break ... moreand or shatter them(eye protection) Once they break they cannot be fixed and will break down into the black powder. They will pinch your fingers so wearing gloves will prevent this from happening. To separate them, push one side out and it will pivot out exposing 1/2 the magnet which can be pulled away from the rest of them. Or they can be placed against an edge of wood and slid apart.
