This is a used 1990- 300 PSI water pressure gauge. Writing on the face is: US Gauge Made in the U.S.A. Water. UL FM approved. Listed Pressure Gauge For Fire Protection Service 233H. 3½” P1590. The gauge works. The gauge measures 3 5/8”across and 1 1/8” deep. 1/4" NPT. Good old item in good condition. Plastic lens is intact. Very minor scratches on lens. There are small wrench marks on wrenching surface. This was removed from a working sprinkler system. The brass housing is in very good condition.

Antique Water Pressure Altitude Gauge For Steam Engine Plant - Steampunk Decor
Offered here is a great old pressure/ water altitude gauge by the Standard Gauge Mfg. Company of Syracuse NY. This type of guage was used to monitor the water feed for a stationary steam engine/plant system. The red pointer needle would be set to the height in feet of water in the supply tank for the boilers and the register needle would give the current amount of water left in the tank. This was of course quite important because if you ran out of water. You ran out of steam. The gauge measures 6& 1/4 inches across the back, 5& 7/8 across the front and weighs a little over 2& 1/2 pounds. This is an antique brass fire sprinkler gauge made by U.S GAUGE MFG.CO. of U.S.A. At the bottom of the face it has the number 68 and reads star sprinkler corporation Philadelphia WATER. The brass has not been polished and lacquered and as you can see in the pictures. But it displays very well. The glass has no cracks and fits securely to the brass cover. This is the larger Gauge and is approx. 7 1/4" in diameter x 3 1/4" deep. Was removed personally from the submarine at salvage by a WWII Veteran who had served on another submarine and relied on these gauges. These are extremely rare and hard to come by from a US Navy Submarine that was used during WWII. Have never seen one listed or know where one could be bought that was off a known WWII U.S. Navy Submarine. This might be your only chance to ever obtain one of these.
