Metal over the font is marked S.G.L. Co. Crystal. Crack free glass font is marked Dietz Crystal. Crack free glass globe is marked Dietz Tubular. Lantern was apparently made shortly after these 2 companies merged. There are a few dents{see 360% images}

Antique Brass Map Distance Measuring Gauge Instrument Tool Switzerland c1800s Description: This is an antique brass and steel instrument for measuring distance on a map. It is marked Made in Switzerland and dates. I would guess, to the late 1800s. The scales reads'Inches to Miles or Verstes' and'Centimeters to Kilms. There is a castle logo flanked by the letters'F' and'C' at the end with the wheel. The gauge is 1 3/8 inches in diameter and the length including the brass handle is 4 1/2 inches. The dial is covered by a glass crystal that is cloudy in the center. The gauge works perfectly with the wheel turning in either direction and the hand moving accordingly. Hi! This auction is for Seagrave company Fire hydrant pressure gauge. That is what I was made to understand by the former fire fighter who sold this and some other items to me. And while I can keep most of what he sold to me, I over purchased and need to pass this item along to someone else. Anyway, perfect un polished patina, no big dents, clear and un cracked glass, The petcock seems to rotate fine. Untested. He indicated it came from the San Francisco area and the interior sticker marks this is as Pacific Coast Instruments. There is a bit of roughness in the outer rim at the 2:00 oclock position. It weighs nearly 4.5 lbs, is about 5 inches tall and 4 inches across. The base is threaded and I assume used to screw on the top of hydrants. This is a great old pressure gauge made in New York by The Ashcroft Co. It measures 7 1/4" across the face and is 2 1/4" deep. Has a glass front with a brass face and rim. The base is cast iron. Untested. Sold as-is. It is in very good condition, clean and straight. Does have 2 small dings in the front brass rim. Shipping is $11.35 maximum, the further west the cheaper. Antique/Vintage Brass Gauge- I think it is a gas gauge. It is labeled NCG- National Cylinder Gas- Division of Chemetron Corporation. The face is glass and the casing is brass. I inherited this so I do not know anything about it. I am not mechanically inclined at all. I will tell you what I see in layman's terms. Some of the shiny brass has rubbed off and there are a couple minor dings to the back. The glass covering the face is in good condition but there are a couple tiny chips on the edge at 11:00. This is a very old water pressure gauge made by the Jas. P. Marsh Corporation in Skokie. ILL. for the Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company in Chicago. It's made of solid brass I'm assuming since it's non-magnetic. There is some minor wear from use and a couple of scratches on the back but no dents. The face is nice. It has a tapered rubber compression type fitting attached. The gauge works with low air pressure and was accurate. That makes this one quite rare. It is in very nice condition. With no rust on the blade and a nice finish on the applewood. The brass is without tarnish, and does not have a shine. The engraving of: WOODROUGH& McPARLIN/ CINCINNATI is clearer on the piece than in the photo. Every letter can be seen, although one or two are light. All parts are original and move easily. Antique brass George T Ladd Company steam gauge. This piece is marked across the bottom Federal Warranted Chicago-Marshalltown trademark. The face is silvered and lettered in black; the dial is also black. There are two rows of numbers on the outer and inner edges of the gauge marks. This is a large and impressive size at approx. 14 1/2" diameter and a little over 2" thick. There is a small blemish on the face(see photos) The stem is still intact and there appears to be nothing wrong with this piece. I am unsure if it works and have no way of testing it. Large brass antique pressure gauge. This sprinkler air pressure gauge is from the Viking Corporation. Manufacturers of automatic sprinkler systems, of Hastings, Michigan. It will display very nicely in any antique fire protection collection. I do not believe the brown areas in the pictures to be rust. As it is a brass gauge. It should clean up nicely. The glass face has a crack in it but can be easily replaced. It measures 5 inches in diameter by 1-1/2 inches deep. The gauge was manufactured by the Moto Meter Gauge& Equipment Corp. of Toledo.
