Gorgeous antique Barometer thermometer with Storm Glass in very good used condition. This beautiful barometer really is a joy to look at, it is made from solid chunky wood and has a beautful curved top section, all glass is original and all wring is clear and concise, the barometer also has a thermometer and a storm glass(not sure how well this works) all glass is original and not cracked, it is really unique, apart from some minor marks, scratches and faing it is in very good used condition. This item is also a really nice size standing at approx 9 inches high and approx 11 inches wide and can be wall mounted or free standing. offered is a very interesting and unique antique thermometer dating from the early to mid 1800s i have had the piece looked at by several very knowledgeable antique dealers and their best guess was that she dates around 1840+/ in outstanding condition. This glass beauty measure about 5 inches long and even has a really crude interior paper graduated index for measuring the temp. i'm not sure if this was for human/personal use of to be used as a room or outdoor thermometer but she is a VERY early edition and very rare.comes in a cherry wood carved container which just adds to the desireability of the item.a great early find! A wonderful old oral medical thermometer in a protective Bakelite-type case with a chain& safety pin to secure it to the clothing. The base of the protective case has the engraved printing"Pat. Oct. 2 1900" The Bakelite-type case has the impressed printing"ACME" The glass has some tiny engraved notations which I have shown in the photos. They could be related to inventory control and to the persons assigned the thermometer. but I don't know. Overall length is 4-3/4" Condition is excellent. The thermometer responds to warm& cold water. But I cannot vouch for its accuracy.

Vintage 1950's RC Royal Crown Cola Soda Pop 26" Metal Thermometer Sign~Very Neat
For your consideration a vintage 1950's Royal Crown Cola thermometer. Fresh from a local estate. The thermometer is made of metal. The glass thermometer insert is good and works. There is some damage to the finish. It measures 25 1/2" in height by 10" in width. An excellent addition to any vintage advertising collection or if you just want to own a really neat old thermometer. I am selling this item with no reserve.
