Vintage Weston 1890 D.C.Amperes Amps Volt Meter Test Gauge Serial No.110 W/Box
Vintage Weston Electrical Instrument Co. Volt-Meter with its original wooden carrying cabinet. Meter is numbered 110& measures 6 1/2" across by 6" wide. With readings up to 150, with 3 terminals& 1 spring loaded button. Direct reading meter is a portable model, that is carried in its wooden box. It has what appears to be a Mother of Pearl button inlaid into the front base. The box measures 6 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 4" and has a sliding door& hook. Unit is UNTESTED. Photos show all sides of the meter + close ups. Condition. The Voltmeter has tarnish. Spotting, stains/soiling, scuff marks/nicks. The paper under the glass has soiling& stains. One of the terminal caps is missing, as is a slug plate, that goes under the patent plate. The base has some soiling, chips, scratches& a couple small old hairlines. ... moreThe wooden box has much age wear, discoloration, nicks and scratches, but is in very sound condition.
