Antique 1800's locomotive live steam engine 3/1/2" Bourdon TEST GAUGE Steampunk
This is an antique/ 1800's American Steam Gauge Co. test set from a local estate. We've not exactly sure of how it's used. But believe it would have been for calibrating locomotive or stationary steam engine boilers. It features a 3 1/2" Bourdon gauge, along with variable piston manifold fitting, as well as tools, and fittings(see images) Everything is heavy bronze with a nickel plating. The gauge works when air pressure is appied, and the glass and front bezel are not present(see images) We are not able to confirm that everything is ready to use/ restoration may be needed.
