Vintage Weksler Industrial Temperature Gauge Gage Working Wexler Wekxler
Check out this beautiful gauge gage meter. This piece comes from the Wekxler company in Freeport Long Island. The gauge is obviously a thermometer. And it STILL WORKS. In fact as I write this description, the meter tells me its a warm 85 degrees in my bedroom. I'm no expert at gauges or meters. But it looks to me that this is an industrial thermometer. It appears that the bottom of rod segment is the heat detector element. That rod is threaded so that the entire gauge can screw into and sit on top of a tank of fluid. While the gauge sits on top. The rod is immersed into the liquid that is being heated. Under the glass gage there is t here is a pivot with a screw on it. Although I haven't unscrewed it. It appears to allow the meter to bend 90 degrees in either direction. The pivot also spins 360 degrees so that if are looking at it, ... moreyou can turn it so that everyone can see it. The size of the meter from the top to the bottom on the gold pivot is 10" The bottom of the pivot to the bottom of the heat detector is another 5" So from top to bottom it is 15" The back side of the gauge shows minimal paint loss. The Nesco Cook Stove Temperature Gauge consists of a mounting bracket with attached temperature dial. The bracket measures 5 1/8" X 3 1/2" The temperature dial measures 2 1/2" in diameter. And extends 7/8" from the bracket. The item shows residue and rust from age and use. There is a crack in the metal casing that surrounds the dial. The metal casing also has a small dent and shows loss of finish. There is debris on and under the glass of the dial. I am uncertain if the item functions or records any temperature. This item was removed from an Me210 destroyer aircraft. Though sadly, I do not have any further information. This instrument was mounted on the forward instrument panel. And indicated both the engine oil temperature and coolant temperature to the pilot. It was used in most larger dual engine aircraft. Made of bakelite and aluminum housing. This is an item I've seen mostly on the antique Hot Point automatic electrical stove/oven from the'20s. Attached to the side of the oven. You set the desired temperature and a separate needle in the dial moves as designed. Now. Obviously, this is a piece of quite some age and a technical on top. DO NOT just plug it in or assume it is working. I have not tested the item. However, it appears that all moving parts on the inside of the rheostat are there. The bakelite( knob is nice and not cracked. The previous chromed part of the housing shows signs of slight pitting. Would be nice for a collector of anything mechanical. Up for auction is a lot of 3 used vintage gauges. Great rat rod. Vintage collector, steampunk, man cave, crop duster look. with the original patina never cleaned. I think 2 are pressure gauges and one is out of a old car and it was the temperature gauge. I would say non functional for display uses only but who knows about the big one. It is about 4 1/2" across- marked 1/4 lb SUBD. Ashcroft usa. It has some rust on the place around screw. Casing appears to be cast aluminum. Heavy. Weighs about 2 lbs! It has"gas pump" penciled in on the face of it. Medium size one says: H.O. company Detroit. Mich. U.S.A. Temperature gauge has heavy rust. Rust hole and the needle is floating around in there. Old Waffle Iron With Cloth Cord Super Plug and Temperature Gauge Heats Up
Here is an old electric waffle iron. With it's clothe covered cord, and a temperature gauge on top. It is sitting on a square, flat base, with the waffle iron part in the middle, and the temperature gauge that reads COLD BAKE HOT START BAKING on the dial. It measures about 9 by 8 inches, at the base, and is about 4 inches high. The actual round baking part of the waffle iron measures about 6 inches across. There is a wooden handle that hangs from the top lid to open it with. Looks sort of Art Deco, but, I don't see any years or any makers marks on this. So, I don't know who made this or when. Several guesses have been that it is from the 1930s or 1940s, but, again, they are only guesses. The cord has SUPER PLUG molded into the plastic part that plugs into the waffle iron. The other end is missing the backing that went at the base ... moreof the plugs. That end is marked T. E.C. PAT. SEP. 17- 18. The bottom of the waffle iron is marked CAT 110 120 WATTS 550 along with two Ns that have lightening strikes through them. Around the cord area and hinge it needs to be cleaned, I didn't know if it should be submerged in water or not, so I am leaving it to the next owner to clean, who would know better than I do. The hinge works fine, the inside shows that it has been used, and needs cleaned, but, is in good shape. The wooden handle that you use to lift the lid is in good shape, but, does show some wear on it. We did plug it in with this cord, and it heated up, but, we did not make any waffles with it. I am not sure that I would trust the cloth cord, just because of it's age, and because the cardboard piece is missing from it. It is a neat decorative piece, though, would look great in a retro kitchen. Please use the postal calculator to determine the cost of postage to the U. S. IF OUTSIDE OF THE U. S. This is a very rare antique solid cast iron Art Deco thermometer temperature gauge. it is a very ornate piece and made from thick heavy cast iron. It has a beautiful bronze backplate where the numbers are nicely pressed. both metals have a wonderful patina from age. on the side it also says water boils and has the temp when the water will boil. the temps range from 80 to 260 degrees and works great, it has a very ornate top and a threaded bottom. the thermometer id made of glass with a mercury inside. it measures 11 inches long by 2 3/4 inches wide in nice antique condition. Top of gauge is marked"US GAUGE CO" This assembly is 6 1/4" high x 4 1/4" deep(the sender is just 3" long coming out of the backside of the gauge) The range on the Temperature Gauge starts at 40F and tops out at 240F. I did check that these were solid brass.magnet does not stick to any part of the assembly. Weksler 3” Diameter -40 to 180F Stainless Steel Temperature Gauge, USA, Tested.
Up for auction is a-40 to 180F round face stainless steel recordable temperature gauge(E-3-18-A-4-R3) made in the USA by Weksler Instruments. The face is 3” diameter and the sensor projects 5 ½” from the back of the dial face to the tip. With the adapter/ sensor shield installed the projection is 6” The adapter/ sensor shield has an integral 1” male pipe thread. There is a sticker on the front face stating the instrument was last calibrated in 1991. Regardless of the calibration date I don’t believe this thermometer was ever installed as the threads on the nut are totally undamaged and none of the hex nuts show signs of ever seeing a wrench on them. This is a heavy item so shipping via USPS Priority Mail Medium Fixed Price Box is the best way to go. San Diego bidders are always welcome to collect an item personally and save postage completely.

Prssure gauge Temperature gauge and digital information center DACOR
The pressure gauge and temp gauge works perfectly. The digital information center is not powering up and probably needs a battery. I don't know much about the DIC but it appears to be an early dive computer. I don't know if it works so assume it will need at least batteries. It looks as though the gauge was not used much as the paper warning tag is still on the high pressure hose. Item will not ship between Sept 29th through Oct 9th. It ems bought during this time will be shipped after Oct 9th.
