Set of 12 Vintage Glass Cabinet Knobs
These 12 knobs came from the same Victorian house as most of the other hardware and fixtures that I have listed. These were on the glass cupboard doors. I did feel chips on 2 of the knobs. These are not reproductions. I have lost the nuts and bolts. However, you can buy replacements at the hardware store. They measure about 1 3/8 inches across.

But, given their unconventional shape and composition, we can only guess they're part of of some kind of industrial, military or aircraft gear. Triangular in shape, they're precision cast out of heavy, dense, aluminum alloy and come equipped with two set screws for secure installation on a standard round quarter inch control shaft. These are mounted on a threaded type of shaft which is primarily used for exterior applications. When I lived Back East I worked on old houses and saved old hardware. Now I live in Nevada and it is time to get rid of my collections. This week and for the next few weeks I will be listing door hardware. I have not cleaned up these pieces. These three knobs are all designed to fit on the threaded shaft which you see. I believe that this type is used mostly for exterior doors. The largest knob is in good shape with only one small chip on an edge. the other two have larger chips. When I lived Back East I worked on old houses and saved old hardware. Now I live in Nevada and it is time to get rid of my collections. This week and for the next few weeks I will be listing door hardware. I have not cleaned up these pieces. So they have some surface paint and dirt. They are, however in good working order except where noted. VINTAGE GLASS DOOR KNOBS Up for auction are 5 antique glass door knobs. These knobs were saved from a house built in the 1890’s in San Antonio. Texas. I believe that these are referred to as eight point knobs. Three of the knobs are on spindles with a turn lever and the other two are on a single swivel. The swivel with the two knobs is not in the best condition. But I am sure can be used or adjusted and work fine. The other swivels are in great shape and the knobs are easily removed. Distressed I love how these have 3 different legs. But match perfectly together and the 3 dowels. Character all over!
