Red Wards Airline tube radio, late 1940s, bullet knobs
Up for your vintage radio collecting pleasure. One red Wards Airline tube radio, circa the late 1940's. This radio was born to live on a shelf, as it has been living on mine for many years now. The reason I say this is because of the following: As much as this radio is lovely to look at. Especially given its enviable bullet knobs, it's a bit of a Franken-radio. First of all, while the red paint is lovely I'm pretty sure it's not original. Secondly, it would seem that a chunk of the radio came off one of the sides(toward the back) and I believe that was epoxy'ed back on and painted over(the original owner did a pretty good job, to be fair) Finally, this radio is not in working condition. Not even close. I suspect it would need quite a bit of work to get it singing again. On/off knob clicks as it should and that's about ... moreas good as it gets. All tubes do seem to be present and that's the other plus. Otherwise, what you see is what you get. And in my mind, that's a shelf queen, or a parts set. Priced accordingly. A rare vintage complete set of 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom plastic. I removed this myself from my unfortunate minty fresh 1979 Les Paul Classic that was not going to lead its intended life anymore. I am not in the habit of stripping old guitars- and I did not do it this time. There was just no need for these with that piece of wood anymore. Includes the rings. The 5 ply pickugard with brackeet, the knobs that were stock on that 1979 vintage Gibson Les Paul. I held on to these for some time, not sure why. Now they're for sale. I stored these with a set of black strap buttons(pictured) and I'll throw those in too. The pickup pictured. However, is not included- I just used it to prop up the pickguard to show the 5 layers.

This particular set is in very excellent condition. The knobs sit securely on a regular pot shaft. And do not slip. The original flat head screws have been replaced with more modern style allen screws. Nice matching knobs are not easy to find, and are necessary when restoring your valuable vintage Tele.

Vintage Cut Glass and Brass Door Furniture/Knobs; Probably Victorian
Some beautiful Victorian style door furniture. I have four different knobs for doors of cabinets and room doors. The brass one. In picture five, has a small screw on it for a attachment(in the picture it is attached to a cork) The others are all glass with flat cut triangles, probably cut on a lapidary wheel. The knob in the second picture is the largest, measuring approximately 4 cm in diameter, it attaches by a screw glued into the glass. The knob in the third picture measures about 3.5 cm in diameter. It has a fluted neck attached to a brass fitting and can be used to open a door. The knob in the picture four is attached to a bolt which used to hold the knob tight. This also measure about 3.5 cm diameter but is not the same shape as the others. As usual with items of this age all parts look as though they have been hand made. The door ... morefurniture is in very good condition. Although the knob in picture two has a few tiny chips on the cut glass. The door furniture weighs about 450 grams. I have three of these dishes and will be pleased to offer a 5% reduction(on auction bid) if two or more are purchased together. The approximate height of the Pitcher is 26 cm. Vintage Glass Door knobs. Purple 12 sided Neat vintage door knobs. One is Purple and the other one is clear. Both are 12 sided. No chips or cracks that I can see. There is some rust on and wear on the metal parts. 2" diameter and about 6 1/2" long. This might be the type of glass that turns purple and the clear one might turn purple if it is left in the sun. But I am not sure. The clear one has a slight hint of purple, and is not as bright white as the other ones that I have that are clear. So that is why I think there is a chance this could turn purple. But again, just a guess. Both have some small bubbles inside the glass which I think are kinda neat. Please look at all pictures. They are part of the discription. You will be getting what you see. VINTAGE BRASS DOOR KNOBS AND LOCK SET& FACE PLATE BY RUSSWIN, PATENTED, NO KEY.
Offered here is a very nice BRASS ENTRY DOOR KNOB SET WITH TWO FACE PLATES AND LOCKING MECHANISM MANUFACTURED BY RUSSWIN. A QUALITY MAKER. The lock set is made of brass that has been cleaned. The brass furnishings are very nice and heavy. It looks like it would fit a door that measures at least 1 5/8 inches wide. The lock set could be polished up to a shiny bright brass finish should you choose to do so. The lock setlocksetlock set measures 6 inches wide( with brass side plate) and 3 1/2 inches tall. The diameter of the knobs is approximately 2 1/4 inches. This piece was recently purchased at a local estate sale. I am not sure how to actually take this piece apart and install it onto a door. 12 Antique Solid Brass Knobs/Pulls
12 Antique Solid Brass Knobs/Pulls. These are 1-1/2" across the top. They were purchased from an estate where most everything was from Keeler Brass Company from the 1960's. They are numbered on the bottom A9618DC. They have never been used and are in good condition however would need some cleaning/polishing(mostly on the bottom of the knob) from being stored so long. 1860's Norwalk lock Bennington Knobs Civil War ERA ESTATE FND!!
This was a really Nice Estate find of a Antique Collector. The Norwalk Marked Lock has wear throughout. Rust, paint over the years etc: One side is Marked NORWALK L CO and the other side has the Patent Date which is July 21 1863. With that said it is old and Civil War ERA. The set had an additional knob and some other pieces which are rusty and I cannot confirm if they belong. The knobs have wear one being more than others with obvious chips in the knobs front surface and some on other back surface. With all said this was to Special to not purchase and offer to collectors and some restoration work it would be fabulous. I personally think it is amazing as is"Civil War Era" how neat. Sold as is ofcourse due to age. Wear throughout lock and knobs, rust and no guarantee it can become a working lock. Why I have a No Refund Policy.
