Independent Order Odd Fellows ~ Oct. 8. 1890 This I.O.O.F. ribbon is in excellent condition. Especially considering it is nearly 123 years old! Its color is a deep, almost burnt red with gold lettering, which is a little difficult to show accurately in photos. I tried a couple of different camera settings, and the darker photos are the closest in color to the ribbon. It measures 6" x 2" There are no tears and no fraying, and the pin is in perfect condition. I don't think it's been moved in the fabric for all 123 years. The ribbon reads: Excelsior Lodge No. 87. I.O.O.F. Foxboro. Mass Laying of the Corner Stone Odd Fellows Home At Worcester. Mass Oct. 8. 1890 This item was found in the attic of my uncle's house in Foxboro.
