Akron Brass 9300 Combination Hydraulic Pressure& Flow Meter* Clean& Tested This auction is for an Akron Brass model 9300 Combination Hydraulic Pressure& Flow Digital Electronic Meter in great condition. Very clean former city fire department property. Fully functional when removed from a truck that was deactivated, according to the agency they were acquired from. As this auction begins, I have three available, as shown in pictures. Each bid is for one meter, not all three together. These were originally fitted with Setra 0-600 PSI transducers for the pressure inputs, which I also received when the meters were purchased. I don't know what type of flow transducers were used, as I did not get those items, for reasons unknown. I downloaded the User Manual, and all meters power up correctly, calibrate, and show good indication ... morewith a pressure transducer connected. The flow indications of the meters operate properly also, including calibration mode, but I couldn't check actual flow readings due to lack of a flow transducer, so that portion of the meter is untested& as is" though they should all be fine. When pressure transducer is disconnected from the meter, they all show correct error messages also, per pictures. No transducers are included, they will be sold separately, this auction is for the meter only. An example of one of those pressure tranducers is shown in the bottom picture. Meters operate using a 12 VDC power source. Photos are of actual items being sold. Note that the digits on the meters are actually red in color, they just look whitish because I had to shoot them without camera flash. Will ship via FedEx within the US, quality packed& insured. We are unsure of the original use but we think it could be steam. Oxygen or liquid propane. The brass and rest of the face we cleaned up but it still has good old patina. We understand this to be all original hardware. The gauge reads from 0 to 300 and we assume it was PSI. It has no bends. Cracks or breaks. Original American Flyer S gauge 625 Shell Tank Car and original box. Vintage is 1948- 1949; note the brass weights on the link couplers. Which are associated with the 1948 production. Rather clean silver painted tank, with black print/data; car is actually nicer than the photos depict. There are a few smaller mars/scratches on the tank; the photos actually over-enhance the scrathes. The scratch on the tank end with the molded data is barely visible when viewing the car. The few multiple scratches on the other/plain end. And also the scratch on the dome top are visible when viewing the car. The handrails/ladders are also nicer than the photos suggest; when holding/viewing the car, you can barely see any dis-coloration/rust in the handrails. The diecast chassis is also quite clean, with all 4 steps intact; same is true for the trucks, couplers, ... moreweights, pins, wheels/axles, and bright journal boxes. Includes original box which has a decent. Semi-firm structure, and colors. The plain box end is completely intact; note the numbered end has tape on hinges, and the tuck-in flap has separated(from tape) though it is present. On numbered end, note one of the smaller flaps is also missing. Overall rather nice car. About 65 years old; sold AS IS. All sales final. Scroll down and view the photos. This is a U. S. Gauge Co. N. Y. Pat'd Sept. 18,1906, it is 9-7/8" Dia. x 2-3/8" deep, and weighs a little over 8 lbs. It has a cast iron back with a brass rim on the front. It is 0-30 something. I don't know if it is PSI or what. It would look really nice restored with the brass polished. But some people just like to leave them the way they are.

In excellent. Unpolished condition, this brass PRINTER'S GAUGE or PICA POLE measures picas on one side and agates on the other. Manufactured by the STAR TOOL Manufacturing Company, and stamped or engraved as such at the bottom of the pica side. This printer's gauge measures 7.25" long from very top to bottom and.75" wide. The gauge on the pica size is in 3 pica increments. From 3 to 36. It dates to around the 1900-1910. Used for setting moveable type this Pica Pole would be useful for artisans still carrying on the traditional type setting methods and for collectors of measurement instruments of any kind. Brass Live Steam 4-6-2 Pacific Locomotive and Tender, 2-1/2 Gauge, Wood Case
This is a very vintage 2-1/2 gauge live steam 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive and tender. Mostly brass construction with some cast parts. The locomotive is roughly 25 inches long, 5 inches wide. The tender is roughly 15 inches long. Untested. It appears to be alcohol fire engine as we can see the burner on the bottom with wicks. It also appears that the water is in the boiler but we have no idea how to operate this. There are some noticeable damages: both of the stairs on the pilot are damaged. The cab roof is a little loose. There is no water level indicator in this loco. The one you see in the cab that looks like the water level indicator is actually just a detail part. In short, please consider this as a PROJECT as it needs some work to get running again. Bid accordingly. The wooden case is quite interesting. Please double check the photos that I have downloaded for this add. American Steam Gauge& Valve Manufacture Company Boston. Mass. U.S.A. 8 1/2" which is on the face of the Steam Gauge and I do not have any idea what it means. On the face is a scratched O.K. 4-23-22(1922) that was put their by the Inspector or Calibrater American Bourdon Gauge Pat. Mar. 24-03(1903) 858 5846 This Gauge is made of Heavy Brass and well constructed with a wooden back board and copper tubing. Also there is Valves that are connected to it. Scale 0- 100 Weight is Appx. 12 + pounds Across measurement 10 1/2" Deep 2 1/2" not counting backing and extras The pressure arm is in extra nice condition ... moreand on the correct balance pin point mark. Original wood back& valves& tubing( some numbers and names on them that I could not read) mostly copper as far as we know. A few light scratches on the glass& an original bubble small Right Hand side by the 90 No major dings. Bangs, cracks, chips. All and all Very Good condition for its age. I have no idea if it works since I do not have a way to test it. I will say it has been in a protected area for over 35 years. This set came from Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company. Miami, Arizona which I believe began in 1906. Formerly Miami Copper Company. All transportation back then was Railroad Steam Trains, mules, horses, and of coarse man power. Inspiration had its own town. Company store, tent city, and back then the miners worked for pennies on the dollar. which was spent at the company store, as Tennessee Ernie Ford said, I owe my soul to the company store and that is the way it was in the 1800- 1900's. In the'60s a lot of equipment was moved to the Carpenter Shop at Inspiration and a friend of my Husband gave him some very intersting Gauges and other things in the early 70's. that he is now going throug

Old General Fire Extinguisher Air Pressure Brass Gauge Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam
This is an old original brass air pressure gauge with the"General Fire Extinguisher" company name on it. These generally came with air compressor setups from the early 1900's. The gauge is all brass and has been nickel plated but most of the nickel is gone. It would polish up very nicely. It measures about 5 1/2 inches in diameter and about 1 3/4 inches thick. It is missing the screws that hold the works and the face to the case. Other than those fasteners along with a little cleaning this would be a very nice gauge. It goes up to 250 lbs. These original gauges are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss it. They certainly look better than any modern gauge!
