The casing is all brass, with 2 threaded connectors coming out the back that appear to be 7/16" fittings. The glass face unscrews, and it has a thick beveled edge glass. The casing measures 3 1/2" in diameter, and with the mounting back rim measures 4" It looks like it might be a gauge for an old car or something, I'm not sure. The brass has patina'd over time and there is some surface green on it that probably would polish out. We will leave that to the new owner and preference. On the face is a scratched O.K. 4-23-22(1922) that was put their by the Inspector or Calibrater American Bourdon Gauge Pat. Mar. 24-03(1903) 858 5846 This Gauge is made of Heavy Brass and well constructed with a wooden back board and copper tubing. Also there is Valves that are connected to it. Scale 0- 100 Weight is Appx. 12 + pounds Across measurement 10 1/2" Deep 2 1/2" not counting backing and extras The pressure arm is in extra nice condition ... moreand on the correct balance pin point mark. Original wood back& valves& tubing( some numbers and names on them that I could not read) mostly copper as far as we know. A few light scratches on the glass& an original bubble small Right Hand side by the 90 No major dings. Bangs, cracks, chips. All and all Very Good condition for its age. I have no idea if it works since I do not have a way to test it. I will say it has been in a protected area for over 35 years. This set came from Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company. Miami, Arizona which I believe began in 1906. Formerly Miami Copper Company. All transportation back then was Railroad Steam Trains, mules, horses, and of coarse man power. Inspiration had its own town. Company store, tent city, and back then the miners worked for pennies on the dollar. which was spent at the company store, as Tennessee Ernie Ford said, I owe my soul to the company store and that is the way it was in the 1800- 1900's. In the'60s a lot of equipment was moved to the Carpenter Shop at Inspiration and a friend of my Husband gave him some very intersting Gauges and other things in the early 70's. that he is now going throug

Vintage dual 200 psi pressure gauge probably railroad air pressure brass case and ring. But painted over black. You can see the base brass in the small scratches in the photos. this is proba bly a clip on gauge. Used on air pressure systems on many railroad cars and locomotives for many years, probably on the braking system. the supplier name is not on the gauge, but many different suppliers made these over the years, all interchangeable, maybe ashcroft, or u s gauge made this one. I put some pressure on each of the 1/4' connections. And the pointers moved, but I do not know how accurate the readings are. one pointer is red, the other white, and the back connections are marked R and W to id the right one will fit in the medium flat rate box for $12.95 if that is better for you maybe steam for steampunk fans of earlier industrial age

Current gauge reading is due to the 93 degree Texas heat in which the photo was taken. This gauge features a brass case, 3-1/2" in diameter. Face is 4-1/4" in diameter. Lense is thick beveled glass, and is 3-1/8" in diameter. Stainless steel capillary tube and probe is 125" long. Three stainless steel fittings included. Back of case is painted black, but is definitely brass. Minor scratches on brass face. May have other surface blemishes. This gauge may have been used briefly. Common shop air compressor shut-off pressure values typically hover from about 120 pounds per square inch up to about 160 PSI. When running air tools. It is pleasing to be able to glance toward your air supply connection to see how your compressor's pressure is keeping up your shop's demands. A common 2-inch gauge is just fine for up-close viewing. Typically applied to the compressor. But trying to read that 2-inch gauge from across the shop where you may be working is just an exercise in frustration. So here's a classy solution. This 6-inch base American Ashcroft pressure gauge has a large. Highly visible black pointer in front of a very clearly laid-out white background with large 0 to 150 PSI font face plate covered by a GLASS(not plastic) window and wide decorative brass surround ring. Even a quick glance from 20 feet is enough ... moreto inform you of how your pressure is holding up so you can guide your actions accordingly. The sweep dial's markings correspond to ~ 45-degrees = 50 psi. The bottom section of the sweep dial does not bear psi markings. But if someone wants to drive this with another 50 psi. That 200 psi just rotates the pointer all the way around to the 0-stop post without causing any gauge damage. This can be wall mounted using the three(3) screw holes which pass through the surrounding back mounting plate. The inlet pressure-feed pipe-thread screw connection is also brass. If the buyer wants for me to send an iron-pipe 90-degree connector with a short hose terminating with a screw-on garden-hose size connector. I'll include that for no additional charge. But what ever extra that extra size/ weight might cause to the mailing postage fee(which might be $00.00 extra) would be added to the buyer's fee. This is 100% buyer's choice. 2) U.S Gauge Brass Fire Protection Water Pressure Gauges These gauges are in great shape with a little tarnish spots that will buff out. The glass dial covers are clear and have no scratches. I took a magnet to these and it does not stick so I believe they are solid brass. They have 75 on the face so I am thinking they may have been made in 1975. But I am not sure. They have 1/4" pipe thread fittings and are 3 1/2" The pictures are part of the description. These are working gauges. Pointer moves freely without binding or slop. Some staining to the steel but no rust or corrosion. Brass is oxidized and I left it unpolished. Measure to 15 millimeters on a clean engraved scale. There is an adjusting screw for the zero setting. Stamped in the brass portion are the words"FRANCE' and'modele deposC" Looks very similar to a Bausch& Lomb optical thickness measurement tool.
