No. 579 closed is 1-1/4" and open it is 2-1/8" No. 229- two are 1-1/4" closed and 2-1/8" open. One is 3/4" closed and 1-1/4" open. Two are 1/2" closed and 3/4" open. They are in excellent condition. It measures about 3 1/4" long overall. This has the original box. Get this handy machinist tool! This is used. The gage is in working order. There are some small spots of plating discoloring/rust. There is some rust on the knurled handle. The box has wear and tears to the edges and corners. There is some staining/discoloring. Please view pictures to see condition.
