I am pretty sure that it is a model EL-42 case because it was being used for a 46" TV. But I am not 100% sure. The model number sticker only says EZ-LIFT. If it is a model EL-42 case, it can fit a size 37"46" TV. This case was submerged in water. There is some light oxidation on the handles and wheels on the outside of the box. One of the pieces of the case has a hinged compartment on the inside. These hinges also have some rust on them. The stand operates manually via a handle pull. The stand raises by itself smoothly, but you need two people to push the stand back down. I belive that this is so hard to move back down because there is no TV installed to provide the extra weight needed to help push the stand down by yourself. All of the mechanical parts inside the case work fine. The handle pull works fine, the tv bracket moves fine, and the stand raises by itself the way it should. This lifts the presser foot on the machine from a knee lever located below the table. It pushes up on a rod that is connected to the machine and operates the presser foot lift. The assembly is in good working order. The paint is worn and the parts are a little dirty in the hard to reach spots. When assembled. It measures 11" wide. The legs are 4" deep. Primitive Blue Green Painted Foot Locker Small Tool Chest Trunk 4H Lift Top Folk
Painted pine primitive six-panel trunk or foot locker. This piece has a layer of blue paint over green paint and has a 4-H logo stencilled on the lift top. Sturdy construction with dovetail corners and applied molding around the bottom and iron braces at the corners. Beautiful stamped metal handles have been attached to the side. Brass key surround at the front lock. Unsure of exact age- the trunk itself probably dates from the 1800's. But its most recent paint job has to have been after 1910, when the 4-H logo was created. It may have been built as a tool chest and then repurposed for tack. Overall. This piece is in very good condition, although there is significant wear to the paint and some wear and minor damage to the wood itself. There is also some rust around the bolts that secure the hinges. No other significant damage. The trunk ... moremeasures 24 1/2" long and 13 1/4" wide and stands 11 1/4" tall. 1890's Wood's Oak lift top Cash Register-Nashua Till Co
We are pleased to offer a vintage oak lift top Wood's 1890'S cash register/Till as manufactured by the Nashua Till Co. Nashua NH. The original label is still intact and undamaged. The register is approx 21" long X 19" wide X 12 1/2" high( including backsplash) It has one center drawer and a lift top. The lift top has a coin slot at the bottom right with a plated metal cover(some finish missing) for depositing coin. Although called a cash register, it truly operated as a recording device, it was probably fairly obsolete when introduced since you still manually had to calculate a customer purcased items, and one wonders how many were sold. There is a paper roll(original) to post and keep a running total of amount owed. The glass(original) cover that fits over the paper pivots up and down to allow the paper to be adjusted. ... moreThere is also a lever to advance the paper( it is broken) The original spring operated paper roll mechanism is"as found. I suspect there is missing parts but I am not knowledgeable enough to inform you which ones. The center drawer is an open design, non sectioned, has two cutouts in the back, not sure of their intended purpose. The drawer bottom is made of a thick wood stock(see picture) and had to be significantly hand planed to fit the drawer side slots. As you can see from the pictures, the oak case is in very good condition considering its age. The lift top section has a oak veneer finish.It is fully intact with some aging splits(very minor, no bubbling) The lift top lock is missing. Overall a very nice old piece. Alpine Lift Mont Tremblant Quebec Canada Postcard 1953 with Moose Stamp
This postcard was mailed in 1953. Per the post mark. It features a view"Near the top of the Alpine Lift/ Mont Tremblant" in the Laurentian Mountains north of Montreal, Canada, per description on the back of the card. Affixed to the card is a Canadian 3-cent stamp. Depicting the head of a moose, which was appropiate considering that moose can be found in that part of Canada. It was also an unusual choice of stamp as it was more common to use definitive stamps with the ruling monarch. For stamp collectors, the Scott Catalogue number for this stamp is 323, which was also issued in 1953. As you can see in the photos. There is minimal wear on the corners and edges of the card. The Canadian stamp appears to be in excellent condition and, as you can see in the third photo, very lightly and nicely postmarked. Antique Dietz No.0 Tubular Top Lift Lantern Kerosene Lamp Very Old
This is an old Antique Dietz No. 0 Tubular Lantern. I was told it was Rare and one of the first ones made because it was made before they started putting wires down the sides between the glass and tubes. It does have a wick in it and it is rusty.
