2009 Caterpillar 289C Track Skid Steer Loader Only 1910 Hr's 2 Speed CAT Machine
Great machine but much to my regret it has to go. I've used this machine for misc projects year round but mainly during the summer months doing landscape grading. It is also an amazing machine for tackling the largest snow storms. Last winter my brother took it to Norwalk CT where they had over 40" of snow and it didn't flinch! I've personally maintained it and was fully serviced less than 120 hours ago. The machine is solid and in very good condition. Everything works& tread has a decent amount of life left. There are some gouges and cuts in the tracks but nothing effecting the use of them. Sprockets and rollers are also fine. No blow by whatsoever. I should mention the bucket can accommodate teeth but I do not have them. This is honestly the best track loader I've ever operated. Here we have for sale a Cat Skid Steer 246B in Ok running and operating condition. The machine is turn key and starts right up. This machine comes with a bucket and is ready to work. There is a little bit of smoke as it runs but it still runs and operates as it should. The quick attach handles are froze up and missing a latch. I have ordered these parts and will include them in the sale of the machine. The right rear rim is bent a little. Also the latch that holds the door shut is missing or damaged and a bungie strap currently does the same job. This machine has just been painted and was rough looking before this.
