SIMMS fly fishing G3 GoreTex guide Large/reg waders w/ SIMMS sz12 wading boots
This is a great used fly fishing set-up. Included in the sale is a pair of SIMMS G3 guide waders in size large/regular 11-12 bootie and a pair of SIMMS lace up wading boots in size 12. Both function just fine. There is a VERY VERY slow leak in the right bootie that will result in a damp( not soaking wet) sock after about 4 hrs of river time. SIMMS has a lifetime warranty on these waders but have not been sent in for repair. Buyer could send them in over the offseason for factory repair at low cost. Only reason I'm selling is I went up 1 size to Large/Long 12-13 bootie and size 13 boots for warmer winter fishing. I'll start them low and let them go from there! Chota Outdoor Gear men's size 9 fishing wading felt-bottom boots. These were my father's boots. And he passed away so I have slowly been getting rid of his things. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, so I hope someone else can get some more use out of these. The boots are obviously used. They are in fine functional condition, felt is not worn at all, stitching is good, etc. But they do have some normal expected dinge/dirt from use, and the laces are worn in some areas and may need replacing down the road. The laces have a pull-through gripping clasp QuickLace system for easy on and off without having to tie them. They have lots of life left in them, and are not cheap boots(approximately $135 new on Chota's website) So these are for someone not being too picky about the cosmetics of them and expecting something in mint condition, ... morebut rather someone who is interested in a good deal for functionality and utility. They were just a little to big for me so I ordered a smaller pair. They have moderate use- a couple small dings on the right and a couple cracks on the left. I put mink oil on them to get them supple again and believe the cracks can be filled with 3M 5200 or equivalent, and you should have a quality boot that will last for some time
