I am loathed to sell this great reel. This is the mk2 version with salmon stamped on it, the reel everybody wants! I have had a salmon bogden reel that i sold for $2.500 but i rate this as the sexiest and finest reel ever made. It took me years to get this. It is like a pateke philippe watch and comes with an original loop of the finest grade leather case with loop stamped on it and also has a pouch at the back. I have had this reel for 10 years. And have only seen one other sold in the past 10 years. This would be completely mint where it was not for 3 tiny micro pit paint loss. Pin head size on the drag face and insignificant rub on the seat where it has been held onto a rod, all in all it is the best example I have seen for sale and I have only seen two. Reel is used but in very good condition. Minor boat rash pictured but otherwise I'd rate it a solid 8.5 out of 10 only for the boat rash reason. This reel has a very smooth sealed drag and is saltwater ready. It would also make an excellent spey rod. It does not require any maintenance. It comes with 350 yds of gel spun backing which is in excellent condition. I purchased this new in 2004. There are a couple teeny tiny paint marks on the reel but these are very small and hardly noticeable. I was told the reel was used once or twice steelhead fishing in Oregon. The reel is designed to fish a 7 weight line and used on a 7-8 weight fly rod. The reel was found in an unmarked seude leather reel case as seen in the pictures-the extra spool was found inside the previous owners fly vest and has no leather case. If you need a grout pump you can't pass this one up. I used it on one job to grout geothermal lines and have not used it since then. It has 2.5 hours on the meter. Included in this sale is the pump. Hose reel with 300' of 1.25' poly hose on it, 500 gallon water tank and it is all mounted on a brand new trailer. The tires still have the little nubbies on them! The trailer is a 14,000 GVW trailer with 8 bolt wheels. None of it has never been outside overnight! It has been sitting in the shop since it did its one job so it's time to GO! You are looking at a used Loop fly fishing reel size 2(5# to 10# The reel is in excellent condition with only a few very minor marks as it's not been used for almost 10 years. Loop Evotec LW 6nine Fly Fishing Reel. This big game fishing reel is in good used condition. With some very minor scratches on the middle cap with the LOOP name on it. It is a left hand retrieve. It is designed and manufactured by Danielsson Innovation, made in Sweden. The reel says LOOP, Evotec LW(which stands for lightweight) 6nine and the serial number 1269. It has a floating line of it, but I am not sure of the size. It weighs 7.3 ounces with the line that is on the reel. It measures 3 3/4" across. The Loop LW series is known for their ample backing capacity and the smooth and adjustable waterproof drag system. You can take this one anywhere fishing for anything from steelhead to salmon.
