The bighorn sheep was taken with the 1.4x coupled to the Sigma 100-300 f/4 EX on a Nikon D80. Detail is very sharp. But you still need to practice a good long lens technique. For fun I have sandwiched both converters together and mounted them on my Sigma 300-800mm and can get a good result about 3-10 times. Up for bid is a wonderful old piece of china bearing the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity crest in gray coloring. This is either a very shallow bowl or a very deep plate. Which measures 8 7/8" across. The piece is in great shape, with no cracks, chips or crazing. The bowl has minor utensil wear. The bottom of the bowl is marked O.P. Co Syracuse China. The plate has a D-11 date code which means it was made in 1923. Amazing condition considering the age. This is the very last piece of the Phi Sig restaurantware I've been selling the past year or so. Vintage Sigma Classical Guitar MARTIN LUTHIER PROJECT ELEMENT JACK PICKUP JAPAN!
Made in Japan: inside back brace stamp reads"C.F. Martin and Co. 1833 Sigma Guitars Made in Japan" There is a serial number: S 47772 and a model number of CR-8C which probably means Cedar Rosewood Model number 8 classical. I believe the guitar is mid 1980's. Vintage Sigma classical guitar. Nylon string. 1980's. Extremely cool guitar. Unfortunately, this guitar was damaged in shipping by USPS. The damage is photographed in detail. Prior to the damage the guitar had a value between 600 and 1,000 dollars. I believe the guitar is made of all solid wood. The hardshell case was even damaged as well. If you are a luthier or a wood worker, this is your project. Fix it up and paint it up and sell it for more if you want. Previous owner had attempted to convert this to left handed by stringing it left and painting inlays on the fretboard, ... morebut it is a right handed guitar by design. I will also include a nylon string guitar pickup valued at 120 dollars. The pickup has only been used once or twice. I'm asking 100 for the LR Baggs undersaddle nylon string"element" pickup(in great condition) 50 for the original vintage hardshell case with grey interior, which also needs a little repair(not as much as the guitar) and I'm asking 100 for the guitar itself. Not a bad deal, especially if you are able to fix it. The cracks will need to be cleated and the binding put pack together. This is a great classical guitar that just needs some love. Up for bid is a nice old pin in the form of the Sigma Nu fraternity crest. The pin is gold in color. But not real gold, and has black and white enamel filling portions on the inside of the crest. No marks on the back side, the piece has a skinny screw-back stud and a working back. No fading or smoothing to this at all. Measures just shy of 3/8" tall and has some discoloration on the back side. Came from a salesman's sample jewelry lot, where the few pieces that were dated were from the late 1930's or early to mid 1940's.
