Up for auction is my well-cared-for Sigma DC 18-50 mm f/1:2.8 EX lens. Its versatility and brightness makes it a perfect walk-around lens for photos outside or inside. In bright sun or low light. I have used it on and off for two years. It shows some minor signs of wear, and it works fine, except that from time to time it seems to over- or under-expose photos, suggesting that the aperture isn't working perfectly. There are no noticeable scratches, rubs or mars and I can see no signs of fungus. There is only normal light-wear(minor plating fade on the tuning keys, strumming light scratches on/near the pickguard, fret wear, slight binding discoloration, nothing like big dings or cracks, or horrible issues at all) I purchased this in Korea in 2000 for $650. I believe built around 1998. The retail is/was $800 US. GREAT DEAL considering its A- condition. I have upgraded the pins to brass for even more resonance. Sigma APO Macro 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6 AF DG Lens
I am selling my Sigma 70-300mm Apo Macro lens in Nikon fit. This is the DG lens and so works with digital SLR's. May not autofocus with newer smaller sensor bodies, but still meters and focus confirmation works with all Nikons. Picture quality is excellent. Lens is in excellent condition clean, no rubbing or marking of body, optics are clean and front element has always been protected by a Hoya Skylight filter. Focus and zoom rings are smooth and firm. Lens comes with hood. Case w/strap and filter. Reason for selling is that it doesn't autofocus with my new D5100 and I now have a Nikon 70-300 in its place.
