Vintage Nesbitt's Hot Chocolate Pottery Mug. This is a very hard to find piece that was made in the 1930's to 1940's. These mugs were made by Chefsware. This company was officially known as the H. F. Coors Pottery and was founded in Inglewood, Califorina in 1925 by Herman Coors, the third son of Adolph Coors of Coors Beer. Herman Coors had worked with his father and two brothers during the early years of the Herold China and Pottery Co. and became manager of the plant in 1916. The H. F. Coors Pottery did not make chemical porcelain but produced many other items such wall tile, faucet handles, shower heads, plumbing fixtures, doll heads and commercial pottery for the hotel ... moreand institutional market. The most typical marks are H. F. Coors Inglewood Calif, Chefware, Coorsite and Alox. The company closed sometime in the 1980's. Carnation hot Cocoa cups set of two.
Here is two Carnation hot Cocoa mix cups Just add water and you have a n ice hot cup of hot cocoa. They have the same thing on both sides so they can be used either right or left handed. They are an 8oz. cup each they are in really good shape. There are no chips or cracks in either one of them. But there are two little spots on one that you can see in picture 9. 10, and 11 at the tips of my finger. But I believe they are a defect at the manufacturer not from being used. In any case it does not interfear with the use of the cups at all. These cups are approximately 3 1/2in. X 4 1/2 X 3in. just waiting to be used or put on display. Each mug measures 3 1/4" across the top and 3 1/2" deep. Nice and clean and do not appear to have been used. Great find for the collector! Super bargain. They do have a good weight to them. This auction is for a West Bend Hot Pot in great shape looks like it had only been used a couple of times(just some discoloration inside pot from water) no scratches. The paint on the outside is in like new shape and comes with the box. I put water in it and plugged it in to test it. It worked great within a minute it had water boiling.
