Up for auction is a very cool Midiman Fineline 24 Mic/Line Mixer. This is a piece that hails from the 90s. And it is a real problem solver in terms of adding multiple inputs to a'channel-challenged' house console. Initially designed to meet the need of keyboardists with multiple synth outputs trying to interface with a 12 or 16 channel house board, the Fineline 24 has the ability to send 24 Mono channels into a 2 channel output, and all this in a single rack-space unit. It can also be configured and considered a 10-channel Stereo mixer with 4 Mono XLR Mic inputs. Studio rigs and live setups could readily benefit from the input and routing capabilities of the Fineline 24. Please take the time to really read the copy below re. applications for the Fineline 24; I couldn't possibly add anything to it. Except to say that the unit is ... morevery clean in its audio performance, with very clean analog throughput. Signal processed through the Fineline 24 kind of reminds me of listening to vinyl with a really smooth top end that doesn't grate or rasp. Midiman's(now M-Audio) concept in designing this mixer was to provide a mixer with as little coloration as possible, and I think they pretty much accomplished it. Another big plus is that the headphone amp is blazingly hot. All functions work well, though I did note that some of the pots could use a shot of tuner cleaner; some scratchiness is apparent. This vintage Sheaffer pen has the following engraved on the barrel of the pen"MADE IN USA. The Fineline Division of W.A. Sheaffer& Company 150" These pen were produced from the mid forties to the mid fifties and used a screw in ink cartridge which is no longer made. This is were the widget comes in. As it allows the use of a modern day cartridge that are being offered at office supply stores these days. Depending of the cartridge purchase one might have to either place a spring or some masking tape at the end going into the barrel for extra support so that cartridge remains steady. The pen itself is black with chrome band and clip on the cap. The clip has a bump on it and engraved"Fineline" down the clip. For your consideration from a private collection of a well known New Mexico Family is this wonderful small olla bowl. This is from the 1930's and has a wonderful handcoiled form with an unusual design pattern. The small olla is 6" tall x 7" diameter. The condition is very good with a small hairline coming down from the top rim. This has the concaved bottom which is indicative of it's age. Made from native clay and pigments.

Two of the pencils are advertising promo's and were made by Quickpoint. Both of these pencils have the brand label on the pencil clip. The pencils have advertisements for State Farm Insurance. And a Real Estate and Mortgage Company. The real estate ad pencil doesn't have the cap to cover the eraser. The pencil made by Sheaffer has lead in it, and works great. This is a really nice surround unit for gaming. Movies, music or whatever. It has a lot of inputs and has a radio tuner as well as a aux input. it has 6.1 surround and is 100 watts x 6. There is info on google if you want to do some extra research and the manual can be found in pfd form for free on line. Just type kendwood vrs-7100 manual and it pops right up so you check the specs.
