It is not a crack it is right on the surface and impressed in the glass You can feel it. I am mentioning it because it occurred during the manufacturing of this pitcher. This is the tallest of the pattern standing 12 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide. We checked the shaker for leaking lid and spout and there are no leaks. The shaker is marked on the bottom 48 ounces. One side of the shaker is marked With Best Wishers to My Friend Harry. For all the Happiness he deserves, Dick. The inside of the shaker is usable, there are no dents and the silver plate just needs additional polishing. Fantastic pattern featuring the cameo and floral design.
