2 axis Sony Magnescale Bridgeport Mill Digital Readout DRO Package +Extra Scale
I changed out the existing 2 axis scales on my Series 1 Bridgeport so I’m auctioning off what I no longer need. So up for bid is a complete Sony Magnescale Bridgeport or Bridgeport clone digital readout(DRO) system. The system includes two(2 each) SR-2711 scales; one for the x-feed(42” table) and one for the y feed. The display is an LF-200 that reads out in inches. There is a switch on the side of the readout for 0.0001. 0.0002, and mm. I cleaned off everything as best I could, but there is still a little bit of dried water soluble oil on the cables and in some nooks and crannies. Sony Magnescale DRO LF-200 2-Axis Digital Read Out Mill 32x20 Steel Rods Used
For sale here we have a Sony DRO. This unit was on a small mill which was recently scrapped out. The unit is currently inoperational. I don't know if the problem is with the scales. The Readout, or both. The scales have steel rods in them rather than glass rods. The Y-axis does not read out at all, while the X-axis reads out, but jumps around without reading out properly. I have no idea as to the repairablility of the unit but if someone wants to take a chance they may be able to salvage something from it. I don't know the date of manufacture but have included a picture of the data plate on the back of the readout. I will calculate actual shipping cost after the auction and send an invoice. For sale is a very nice USA made Sargon DRO scale model 105IM-40. It has 40+ inches of travel. And the total length is 4' It does not appear to have ever been installed, though there are some light blemishes on the outer housing. I've opened up the housing in the pictures so you can see details of the glass scale and encoder, they're both in perfect shape as near as I can tell. 2 AXIS DRO Digital Readout MILL display Itek Digiline for milling machine
This is a 2 axis digital read out system for a bridgeport type knee mill. Travel is approx 35" x 20" The scales are DEM35. And DEM20 sizes. The scales operate by rotary encoders driven by an inconel wire on a drum attached to the encoder. The problem with the y axis seems to be the small board in the photo which is attached to the lid of the Digiline decoder. If the board is swapped the y axis will work. The board has two LM311H voltage comparators and two 2n222 transistors which are easily obtained on ebay. The Digiline converters are also available for parts to repair this system. This system is heavy. The readout box is 20lb, the x axis scale is 15 lb, and the y axis scale is 11 lb. It is sold AS IS, no returns. SHIPS to USA only.

Newall C80 3 Axis Digital Read Out DRO w/ Z axis mill scale
Newall C80 Digital Read Out/ DRO Used but in full working order. The X and Y axis scales on the machine were destroyed during a move so this DRO unit was removed to'de-clutter' the machine. Z axis scale works fine and is included. Includes power supply and a single bar mounting arm for the display. The Z axis scale has mounts but they may not be complete. The display was a little dirty but has been cleaned up. Read outs are bright and flicker free, all functions work as they should.
